My ex-daughter-in-law went to high school in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was one of three Caucasians in the class (one of them was the teacher), and the other 38 students (yeah, 40 students in the class) where from Mexico.
Apparently, there were some lively debates in that history class because because the history books in Mexico are/were very different than the history books in Salt Lake City, Utah. I know this sounds strange, but something like the Alamo is portrayed very differently depending on which side of the border you’re on, history book wise.
We are currently watching a false history being written with a propped up mega dollar propaganda machine like no other ever.
Isn’t that a constant? The rewriting of history based upon todays morality and values, the renaming of streets and schools while ripping down or hiding statues that might conflict with a current narrative?
The difference now is that most people carry a computer in their pocket that can quickly verify or disapprove a rewrite live as it’s happening if they’re will to or care enough to bother.
And every attempt at disproving something is met with hundreds of counter points.
The aim is to keep us all ignorant and uncertain about what is real and what is not.
You will know nothing and be happy.
That is rewriting history.
Covering it up and establishing the narrative while it's happening is far different and far more repugnant.

Apparently, the floatilla thing happened again for the eleventeenth time. Same result as always. Deported them all to turkey this time. Not sure if they got to take their boats with them or not, and if so whether they’d be carry-on or stowaway as far as luggage is concerned.
