Shadow, how did you end up on my ignore list? I couldn't reply to you! Weird.

Anyway, thank you for the hugs to cure my snow ball blues. :)
lol... when your post first opened up, the little guy ended up jumping up and down on my Christmas tree. Weird! lol.
This is the one I was searching for. For some reason I was thinking it was a little cherub but as soon as I saw it, I knew it was the one from last year.
I actually get a real day off next week! I asked them today to be sure not to change it and give me some hours I just don't need right now. A person has to have at least one day to shop for Christmas! This week is taken up with work, babysitting, dentist appts. and it's time for new eye glasses. Hubby's plan lets us get new glasses ever "off" year so I have to get them before the end of this month. Between our two plans, I will get the glasses free and most of my dental paid as well. That makes a major difference.
Yeah total spammer all around and still going at it. I just deleted his account instead of going through the trouble of removing all of his photos, albums, profile info (some spam) and the rest of it.
"Strange how games can sometimes work out, eh?"
How true, shadowshiv. It is one of the reasons, win or lose, that I love the CFL. No, but no one, can predict how a single game will turn-out. Our league is famous for games where victory is snatched from the jaws of defeat or vice versa.
Couldn't agree with you more. People who like to destroy something will latch onto any excuse in order to do so.

The other thing bothering me right now is the media fixation on the identity of the 13th man. This just makes my blood boil because in spite of repeated comments from our coaches and team members, they will not let it die - as it should.
It does not make one whit of difference who it was - a mistake was made. In all truth, had we played just a bit better in the 3rd and 4th quarters, that single point would have made no difference at all.
I have been talking to other Rider fans and we are worried that this insatiable lust to name the player could lead to real problems for the guy. Anyone with even half a heart, knows the poor fellow is going through a personal hell of his own. Nothing anyone can say could make him feel any worse than he already does.
I love your new avatar. I searched for my little angel from last year but so far - I haven't found her. I hope I get the time to do that. Life is un-believably busy right now. I work 5 days a week and since my son's wife left, I feed him and his children every Mon & Tues. He works hard all day (outside hard work as he's a builder) so it's too easy to order a pizza when he gets home. This way they all get a healthy start to the week.
You betcha, shadowshiv and that is exactly what us True Fans are saying, along with the fact that they gave us such a great season, won the Western Division Final, and win, lose, or draw we love them all the way.
What truly shows how much us fans care is that we are more upset for the team than we are about losing the game. We know how hard these guys tried and how far they have come. It breaks our hearts but at the same time does not surprise us to see them take it so much to heart. They feel far worse than we do.
aww you're a sweetie to do that. If you'd like my address, I'll send it to you via pm ok? Send me yours too ok?
shadowshiv, thank you so much. My sister Ginny, in Regina, attended the rally for the Riders in Mosaic stadium today. She told me the team and coaches walked onto the field as if they were in mourning - no swagger, no tough-guy act, just real somber and very sad players. They were met, thank heavens - by the thunderous applause of the Rider fans who turned out to thank them.

Hey Shivvy! Wow what a game. I was at Boston Pizza for it and we thought for 2 seconds that the cup was ours! It was insane and then the flag... the whole place and probably the whole of Saskatchewan was dead silent. Then we lost and everyone was in such shock it just stayed quiet while we all sat down and came to terms with it! I can tell you I won't forget this Grey Cup any time soon. It is fine to lose but to lose this way is just heartbreaking!!
True, but even though the sun is shining, it's still a tad chilly for that right now. When it warms up I will be able to sit out on my little sun deck and do exactly that. I feel guilty right now - I can see my sister-in-law's car parked in front of "Curves" and I should probably be there with her instead of sitting here! lol
