Liberal supporters should wear paper bag over their heads.

Been looking around my riding, and I've seen quite a few defaced election signs......every one of the for the Conservative candidate.

The liberals simply believe in the Divine Right of Liberals to rule.

This is especially sad because the Liberal candidate here is a dishonest, pathetic, irritating, idiotic bit of pond scum.....that is expected to win. (sigh)

Why anyone in their right mind would vote for Paul Zed, under any party banner, is beyond me.......

Hey Colpy, if we take gaff for gaff the Conservatives are on record apologizing more than the Liberals, the Liberals reinstated the old lady who made comments about 911, a good forgiving bunch.....
As far as the right to rule between the two main proven parties, the Liberals and the Conservatives both should have the same chance in succeeding the other for the top job......it all depends on main core economic party platform...and foreign policy....That is why we will tell one of the running parties 10 days from now, here you drive don't get in an economic accident because we are seating next to you being you are a minority.....I do agree that damaging signs is intolerant....

Why do you think the PM job should be the pervue of the two bum parties who've always been the ones to screw us? Doesn't somebody else deserve a chance?

Me too. That's why I don't want her sucked dry and screwed over by the guys who do it over and over and over again. Insanity is trusting them and expecting different results.
We the people should demand accountability as a number 1 issue......'

It doesn't matter what "we, the people" want. Traditionally, both ruling parties promise the sun, the moon, the stars ... and yes, even accountability ... and ten minutes after the polls close, all promises become null and void - and what "we, the people" wanted is what "we, the people" get thumbed at us from some ruling party nose. It's been that way since Confederation and as long as we keep playing Liberal/Conservative ping-pong, nothing is going to change. It's like disciplining kids (and we all know how you feel about that) As long as they know they can get away with disrespecting "we, the people" because they know "we, the people" are lax and forget their abuses of power by the time the next guy's abused his power enough to make "we, the people" madder at this guy, they'll keep doing it and laughing at us. A good spanking and four or eight years out of the spotlight might do both arrogant buggers good.

I have to agree with you on all counts LW, as many of us know "we the people" is = the government, and yet a hand full of snakes in the grass tell us what to do.............

Unfortunately it has been a political ping pong between the Liberals and the Conservatives....

It is a catch 22, we are doomed if we do, and we would be doomed if we don't....`

...I think the "winds" are changing, so S.G., you may get your wish.
