either he's insane and actually believes he can speak for men, women, all canadians, and the entire membership of this forum, or it's a useful troll-tool. Modern trolls have downed their giant clubs and taken up blanket statements which are obviously false. It certainly gets us arguing with him. Must be entertaining, and I certainly enjoy a good WMG-bashing session. he takes it very well.

We have un-needed non-essential services provided by the government (eg. Health Care, Child Care, Welfar), and pay 60% of our earnings in tax, and their is a secular progressive agenda.

Very similar to communism.

health care? un-needed and non-essential? welfare? non-essential? try running a society without welfare without slums and starvation growing up around the cities.

I mean I think most Canadians like their quality of life in Canada, but their is no real passion for our country.

Thoughts? And is this good or bad? And should we put more importance into patriotism for Canadians.

(eg. Canada wouldn't care if someone burned our flag, in the USA it would be bloody mayhem)

I remember being at Woodstock 99....the Tragically Hip hit the big stage...first band on Saturday morning. All I could see was a see of red and white...the canucks were out in full force and were covered from head to toe with flags, shirts, hats...anything that had a maple leaf on it. Thousands and thousands of Canadians...waving the flag proudly, supporting their band...I think it really impressed the organizers...they weren't expecting that.

Child care? Secular agenda? I don't have stats to back this up, but I'm going to go out on a limb here. Who do you think has more kids? Seculars, or religious folk? I'd bet pretty good money on the latter...
