And so Aj, what about the point of that post--how can all the protestants-non-catholics-be right since they all say they are lead by the Holy Spirit and yet all have different takes on the same thing? Why haven't you answered this question yet?
One of the things that the Holy Spirit does not: and that is to discriminate. He deals with every body where they are at. (Catholic and non-Catholics)
Consider the Holy Spirit as our life training instructor. We have to go through trials and tribulations in this life, and He is there to help us to learn and understand how to overcome the sufferings of the flesh in order for our souls to be victorious.
That is why He is called the comforter
He, being God's Spirit is aware of all conditions that we go through, makes Himself available to us the instant we call.
I am a citizen of the United States of America, and if a citizen, then I have all the rights given me by the constitution.(Debatable, of course)
But my point is that if the USA would impose restrictions on my living conditions, then I'm damed if I don't comply.
But because I have certain promises of freedoms I can practice, I am not under bondage to express my free will.
Many religious organizations limit their members to set rules and practices, that if they struck out on their own: are condemned. That is called being under bondage.
When Jesus was here there were but the Jewish High Priests who carried the burden of the law as given to them by Moses, therefore, Jesus did not fit in to their theology. Hence, they took care of Him by having Him crucified.
Don't think that that is all to that story, because there are many deeper truths that are not revealed to us unless the Holy Spirit reveals them to us.
At present, you all are receiving new light that perhaps some of you have never heard of before.
This new light had been because I have sought after it with a passion to know God with all my heart.
So now, I share this with you all, and leave the Holy Spirit to touch whomever it sees fit to do so.
I have no control over that, only to do what is right by the Spirit of God which is in me.
There is a point in one's life where after many years of trial and error, researching, seeking and experiencing many things, that one's faith exceeds the youthfulness and goes on to maturity which is the goal that is sought by the Father as we live here in this environment.
Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Wisdom does not come instantly, but only by experience, that when we understand, we make the right choices. Is: exercising wisdom. (Let me emphasize that is a Godly wisdom and not as man's wisdom)
So, let all religious/religions exercise their appointed state, from that then, will the Holy Spirit selectively pick out those to whom are appointed to teach, instruct, comfort, help and exercising in action those Godly attributes to a lost world.
So as the world may see Jesus in us, and be encouraged to seek Him themselves.
That's the stage I am in right now, that is why I don't discriminate. I share Jesus with anybody, whether they want Him or not, that is not for me to decide.
I am instructed by word and Spirit, to love my neighbor as my self. The neighbor is whom ever my God puts across my life's path. Be it friend or enemy.
When the world gets to that point as a whole, then and only then will we learn war no more.
The world of mankind is like a baby born and having to grow up, through trial and error and good instruction, reaches a point of maturity of Godliness that love rules and the end of hate, envies and wars are no more.
If you look at the beginnings of Christianity, you will see a progression, through all it's trials and error, yet growing in maturity and numbers, that not in this life time but some where in the future, that the world through evolution of thought, will achieve the intended goal the Father has set.
There are those who resist, but that is also good. If you could just understand that evil is also an instructor and if it weren't for evil, how then could we learn what good is?
Don't misunderstand me, evil is not good, but it is to our good that evil is present.
Why haven't you answered this question yet?>>>levesque But I have been answering it all along. But with great patience and long-suffering, I am giving every opportunity for those who wish to learn and understand what the love of God is, and not according to what mankind says it is.
God knows each one's hearts, and He knows when and where to reveal Himself personally.
I can just share my views and experiences with love.
Peace>>>AJ
