There certainly are. As I said, they don't do anything, just as they don't do a damn thing where you seem to live. It might make some people feel good for a temporary amount of time when they do protest or parade, but when was the last time you saw someone say, "Gee, that parade sure made me think. I'm going to change my ways and how I think."?

I'm pointing out that taking action through the legal system was not the only action they took. I have no doubt there are complaints of discrimination against trans people working their way through the system right now. But that's not the only avenue, just as it wasn't the only avenue for women and people of color.The difference here with women, people of colour and disabled is that these groups took action through the legal system and ensured existing laws were enforced correctly.
