From 8 months ago? Interweb has rewind.
I meant once time permits to see if there’s anything different in the details. If they’re the exact same that weren’t acceptable eight months ago… it will be hard for Biden to take the credit for this… because what has changed beyond the flavour of ice cream?

Pistachio is my favourite.

We'll find out soon.

The truth is out there.

…& to take the opposite side of the coin, having actually watched much of the GoPro footage & cell phone videos, and pictures from Hamas and Palestinians on October 7th, 2023…& it made an impression, & I have viewed the rest of the conflict through this lens.

So Hamas will release the hostages over a six-week period, with at least three hostages released each week and the remainder of the 33 before the end of the period. All living hostages will be released first, followed by remains of dead hostages.

In exchange…Israel will withdraw in large swaths Israeli forces from central Gaza and the return of displaced Palestinians to northern Gaza, & Israel will release 30 Palestinian detainees for every civilian hostage and 50 Palestinian detainees for every Israeli female soldier Hamas releases abducted from Israel 10.07.23, & the deal requires 600 (instead of the 500 already being allowed) truckloads of humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza every day of the ceasefire, 50 of them carrying fuel, with 300 of the trucks allocated to north, & the implementation of the agreement will be guaranteed by Qatar, Egypt and the United States. Thats phase one.

Negotiations over a second phase of the agreement will begin by the 16th day of phase one and is expected to include the release of all remaining hostages, including Israeli male soldiers, a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli soldiers. Hamas remains in control of Gaza, & nothing changes.

A third phase is expected to include the return of all remaining and the start of Gaza's reconstruction, supervised by Egypt, Qatar and the United Nations.
So this agreement is either super lopsided, or a “Palestinian” is worth equivalent of 1/30th of an Israeli civilian, or 1/50th of an Israeli female soldier, or am I reading the above incorrectly?

How many “Palestinians” is an Israeli corpse worth? Five Palestinians? Ten? Twenty? Is there a discount if it’s only a portion of an “unalived holocaustage”? A leg from an Israeli is worth how many “Palestinians,” ? Etc…

So, as this historical agreement unfolds amid ongoing rocket attacks, etc…& Israel continues to not care about the “holocaustages” from 10.07.2023…is it already unraveling?
Are the first handful (in lots of minimum 3 per week?) Israelis to be released living hostages (?) or not-so-living hostages? Is a dead female Israeli soldier still equal to 50 “Palestinians” on the Hamas scoreboard?

Even at this point, 467 days into this fiasco, has Hamas provided a list of who is alive and who is dead yet, regarding the hostages that Israel doesn’t care about I mean?
Then they'll retire to their corners, get a mouthful of water and their cuts attended, and come out swinging for Round 77!
That’s the way I’m reading this too. Here’s some of the details of “phase1” of this:

Why isn’t Israel responding equally and proportionally at this point if there’s an actual agreement. “You give us three of your choice…& will give you three of our choice” sort’a thing? Equal balance on this, separate from any other conditions like troop withdrawals or aid shipments or whatever? If not, it’s not much of a deal.

Then why 33/100-ish prisoner/hostages slowly over six weeks (drip feeding?) in exchange for a 1000-ish+ from Israeli prisons? Does that mean 2/3rds of these holocaustages are on the “not-so-much-alive” non-list that Hamas still hasn’t provided? Are these first 33 in the first 6 weeks guaranteed to be at least “living” hostages (?) or is it a mix of living & corpses (?) & if so, in what percentage or portion? If this is the case, it still doesn’t sound like much of a deal.

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday that a “last-minute crisis” with Hamas was holding up Israeli approval of a long-awaited ceasefire that would pause the fighting in the Gaza Strip and release dozens of hostages. Israeli airstrikes, meanwhile, killed at least 72 people in the war-ravaged territory.

Netanyahu began signaling there were issues with the deal just hours after U.S. President Joe Biden and key mediator Qatar announced it was complete.
