Look on the bright side. With what he did to the loonie, that'll get him a cup of coffee and a grilled-cheese sandwich.
At an establishment near the border crossing yesterday afternoon, a gentleman was ordering take out for his family , the waitress informed him they take American money at par , he took the hit .

Understandable. In the U.S. it's illegal to try to pass off worthless, used toilet paper as legal tender.

What happens now that Parliament's been pro-rogered?
Nothing. Nothing can happen. Any proposed legislation currently in front of Parliament is dead…etc…

Trudeau didn’t prorogue Trumps/your government though. What happens with Trump & Canada after he’s in & Canada’s government is shut down? Trudeau operates without parliamentary oversight.

Yeah, celebrating the removal of a far-left douchebag must really stick in your craw, eh?

You haven't been paying attention at all, Jin.

I'm glad he's out. He should'a been gone LOTS sooner than this. So no, that he's gone doesn't "stick in my craw" at all. What sticks in my craw is that it took this fucking long.

But a few things.

1. Trudeau isn't far left yet it's funny so many people think that, and so many of those same people think PP would be a good PM. Morons. BTW, heard his "interview" with JP? It's not good and nicely proves a lot of what I've thought about the man - he's a Trump mushroom-sucking, "Bend me over and fuck me, Orange Daddy" who will sell out Canada for his own gains, kind'a like Trump. And Trudeau in ways, for that matter. Plus being sponsored by the anti-abortion assholes is pretty sus for a person who is supposed to be all "Abortion isn't on the table in Canada". And come on, Daily Wire; nuff said.

2. People who would celebrate Trudeau stepping down obviously don't get politics, don't get repercussions of such a move, and certainly are too fucking stupid to realize that this puts Canada in an even worse spot globally (not that our position was great to begin with thanks to him). All they seem to be for is the instant satisfaction of seeing an - all-be-it deserving - jerk of a politician get his comeuppance and be gone.

3. Rightly pointing out the level of celebration from said clueless mounds of ignorance was meant as just that; truth. The fact you even had to make it into something totally sideways just shows your level of idiocy too.

Depending on the length of time given (just getting up pretty much, haven't read it yet) Government doesn't sit for anything until the end of it. Libs have that time to hold a leadership convention, pick a new leader and they're PM.

It's gonna be one hell of a shitshow.

How long y'all figure the Tories'll blame True Dope for everything from their school hockey team losing to their inability to get laid?

They'll blame Trudeau for Canada not being part of the US, for Canada not kicking out the Monarchy at Confederation and anything else they can get away with.

Or sort of out. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his resignation “plans” at a news conference outside Rideau Cottage on Monday.

For the time being, he said he intends to stay on as Liberal party leader and prime minister until a new leader is chosen.

This is a developing story.

What will Jagmeet Singh do now? He could have triggered the election 3 weeks ago and now due to the prorogue the non confidence vote can't happen until late March at the earliest. And what is so important about Trudeau leading the party until a replacement is named after a robust, nationwide, competitive search.

Ain't nobody new coming out of the woodwork for the Liberal party. But while we are at it lets do the job right and completely clean house with the rest of the riffraff.

Charlie Angus is the only one you can trust.

Sad the richest country on earth and this is where our collective leadership puts us . Buy hey we aren’t those boorish Americans and we have free health care . With the economic potential of Canad each citizen should be receiving dividends not paying income tax .

Premiers have been stepping up. Alberta is planning on doubling O&G as is SK. Sask is taking fertilizer and Urainium to the top shelf as top suppliers. Even BC is currently investing in FSJ for the up coming O&G boom. Manitoba hard rock is on a serious upswing. Future looks good.

On the revenue side perhaps but our political betters will find many ways to burn through it and then some .
