Ah, semantics. I have lived in both camps. My father was a criminal; hell, they even talk about him on true-crime podcasts, and I can tell you there is no honor among criminals.
Because your father had none? I question your sample size.

The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was also a criminal. Duly tried, convicted, and sentenced. Did time.

History does not view Mr. King as a criminal, but you know I am not referring to civil rights leaders like MLK.
I'm referring to criminals who deliberately victimize for their gain, but semantics being what they are... Cough cough.

Funny, I always regarded criminals as those who willfully violate the criminal laws, and are found to have done so without excuse.

Like that traitor George Washington.

Just spitballing. Team Trudeau and all. Barf.
Depending on how hard it gets screwed into the ground, they may be better off folding the party, & emerging like Phoenix from the ashes as the “New Democratic Liberal Socialist Party” or whatever name best tests sorta way, as an illusion towards something new and different (emphasis on the different). A rebirth to walk away from the stench of Trudeau.

I didn't go to law school like you.
When it comes to interpretation, I hire a lawyer.
When it comes to calling it as I see it, I have a fool for a client.

There are many negatives attached to that. Just ask the Conservatives.

George Washington was a slave owner and, therefore, should be canceled. Sticken from your money, your history.

Do you know where my line in the sand was? When they started using woke reviewers to whitewash classics like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Ian Fleming's James Bond novels. That was when I knew these people were brownshirts.

Employment Minister Randy Boissonnault is already in all kinds of hot water for allegedly running a company, Global Health Imports, that received large federal contracts at the same time that Boissannault was serving in cabinet.

When texts emerged showing a “Randy” conferring with GHI management about the contracts, Boissannault weirdly claimed that an “other Randy” was to blame. That other Randy has never materialized.

What also hasn’t materialized is any of the Indigenous people that Boissannault listed as running the company. The National Post revealed last week that Global Health Imports bid on two federal contracts while claiming to be an “Aboriginal owned” company. The moniker is a reference to Boissannault himself, who has occasionally claimed Cree or Métis lineage. But Boissannault would say on Friday that his only Indigenous identity is that he was adopted into a family that claimed Métis ancestry. Oh well.
I don't know what all the fuss is about. This is how liberals have done bizniz since confederation.

There's another kind?
About 15 years ago, the Rhinoceros party, which was supposed to be a parody on our corrupt election system, had a candidate in our riding. At an all candidates meeting, where the rest of the crowd was promising to buy our votes, someone asked him what he would do if elected. he said" We will lie, cheat and rob you blind, just like the other parties." Since he was the only one that told the truth, I voted for him. He didn't come in last either.

Anyway, “Other Randy”…
I am Randy Boissonnault. Employment Minister in the 29th Canadian Ministry. Loyal lieutenant to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Sworn representative of Edmonton Centre. Proud Franco-Albertan. Diligent public servant. My mandate is clear, my responsibilities sacred, my moral compass always and forever pointed Due North. God bless Canada.
But maybe Randy was talk’n ’bout the “other” Randy when this was claimed?:
I am Other Randy. Co-founder of Global Health Products. Inveterate dealmaker. Ruthless capitalist.
What is Other Randy’s ethical code? Money — loonies, dineros, simoleons. Whatever you call it, I want it. I’ll take any advantage, cut any corner, shake any hand, check any box; so long as it brings in that sweet, sweet cash. Original Randy does not approve of this. He’s too busy bootlicking his way through Ottawa to know what really matters. Greed is good.
I am Cree Randy. Identity has been the colonizer’s sharpest weapon in his campaign to divide and extinguish my people. There was no talk of “blood quantum” before the arrival of the settlers. Did Sitting Bull check his warrior’s status cards before the Battle of the Greasy Grass? Cree Randy has always declared with pride his “non-status adopted” identity. Original and Other Randy would never understand; they are both in thrall to the lucre of the white man.
I am Métis Randy. Okay, maybe mom actually isn’t Cree. I always thought that was a synonym for “Native,” but it turns out it’s a whole ethnicity with culture and a language and stuff. No, the more appropriate term would be “Métis”; which I believe means “partial Native.” I always knew Cree Randy was an imposter, and a traitor to our true heritage as Métis People.
I am Horrified Randy. Monstrous, bone-chilling acts of fraud and misrepresentation have occurred without my knowledge. False claims of identity made for personal advancement. Shocking betrayals by my closest friends and associates.
Which Randy is your favourite Randy?
Other Randy, Original Randy, Cree Randy and Métis Randy will all answer for this. They will pay.

Actually, they’re all watching me now. Well, let them. Let them see how horrified Randy Boissonnault is, how unwilling he is to let the Other Randys sully his reputation. A fly has landed on my hand, and I’m not even going to swat it. The Other Randys will see, and they’ll say, “Horrified Randy; why, he wouldn’t even hurt a fly.”

Remember when…On July 3, 2012, Oda (Bev Oda, a Conservative MP) announced she was resigning her seat in the House of Commons effective at the end of the month following public controversy about her spending habits; she was dropped from Cabinet the following day.
On April 23, 2012, it was reported that during a 2011 conference on immunization of poor children Oda had refused to stay in the conference hotel (the Grange St. Paul) furnished by hosts. She instead stayed at the Savoy Hotel at a cost of $665 per night for three nights, ordered orange juice at a cost of $16 and hired a limousine to transport her between her new hotel and the conference. She was also charged $250 for smoking in a non-smoking room. The costs incurred were at public expense.
That orange juice at $16 was the straw that broke the camels back. It was a very different time way back over twelve years and three federal elections ago.
Oda did switch from a $250/night hotel to a $570/night or whatever hotel, & then needed a car service to get her back & forth to that conference…on top of the $16 orange juice, & she repaid those costs, and resigned, & was removed from Cabinet.

But inflation between 2012 & 2023 is a thing that happened…& this was Justin-affiable as a legitimate expense, etc…

Anyway, I was going to compare Bev to Randy (or “Other Randy”), in a road apples to orange juice sort’a way.

OTTAWA — He’s not going anywhere. Embattled Employment Minister Randy Boissonnault says he won’t resign.
