The suspect we should be looking for 
My first thought when I stumbled across this yesterday hours after it happened, was that it was a bullshit made up story, etc…in all honesty. Figured out within a minute or less than it wasn’t just made up, but that was my first thought.
I can see the tinfoil hat crowd coming out, saying this was staged, and it will happen. Nobody is going to volunteer to have somebody shoot them in the ear from 200 m away or whatever the heck it was…damn. That’s just beyond crazy, & a whole lotta dumb luck involved in Trump surviving yesterday.
It’s a picture of just some random woman who looks “freaked out” that’s been floating around the Interwebs for a couple years now has a representation of leftist wingnuts (whether she is or isn’t).
It’s, I’m assuming from as soon as I realized this was real and that he survived, the American presidency is now pretty much a forgone conclusion in November. That’s from the outside looking in, & no dog involved in their American election.
From a Canadian perspective, purely selfish, I’m more concerned about the overlap in terms from January 2025 to October 2025 of Trump & Trudeau/Singh.
We’ve done our part here, & got our memes as quickly as they turned up, the funny ones anyway.

I will say, the response from people on "the left" who are in Government has been and is much better than when anyone on the left has been attacked. Overall message? This was wrong, this was "sick" this is evil, etc. Then again, that's the typical. Flip the script and I'm sure there would be celebrations and cheering from the "other side".
Flip the script & I think it would be identical, with the same standard responses. Thinking otherwise is discrediting both of their handlers and script writers, & profiling a bias perpetuating stereotypes.
Between now & November, it’ll be this picture everywhere. Absolutely everywhere in regards to their election…
It’ll be juxtaposed against Biden falling off bicycles, falling up or down stairs, wandering off stages or wandering off in conversations at times, or just stand alone as a backdrop every time Trumps name is mentioned, etc…it’s a done deal I’m guessing.

2-3” one way from what actually happened would’ve been a miss, & 2-3” the other way from what actually happened would’ve been a successful assassination.
Trump survived it, & his actions immediately afterwards (his Secret Service detail must absolutely hate his guts as they’re trying to get him out of the situation and he’s popping up from the middle of them pumping his fist and making sure that he’s visible) will almost guarantee that he’s the next president of the United States.
Maybe that'd be the reaction 10 or more years ago, but right now, absolutely have to disagree with this.
Considering how some of the Republicans (and their lapdog types) reacted with Pelosi's husband was assaulted, including Trump, it's not too far a stretch to believe that they would be gleeful if Biden had been the one to be shot. Or super gleeful of it was Harris.
To think otherwise is to ignore the current Right Extremist GOP.
And on hats, shirts, and anything else Trump can use it for to monetize his campaign.

His ego is why a lot of things happen, and not a lot of them are good things.
Way too early to know exactly what his issues were but I imagine we'll know soon enough. How do we know he was a Pro Biden supporter? I also heard that he was a "registered Republican." We don't know & until the facts come to fruition, speculation does us no good. Thankfully, Trump is ok. Not so much for 1 person who was killed & the 2 people that were wounded. I hope & pray they'll make a good recovery. This whole thing is revolting & the rhetoric from both sides need to STFU! If you don't like him, bloody well vote!!
