Weird observation but…. As I sort of try and keep abreast of the goat-rodeo that is the Middle East….& specifically this Hamas Israel Gaza Palestine Arab lovefest… I’ve noticed something interesting in the way it’s reported.

Since Oct 7th, pretty consistently, as Israel is now in Gaza, the health authority in Gaza, which is the one reporting casualties, fatalities, etc… never ever reports that a single Hamas member is ever harmed…. It’s always Palestinians and nothing else ever, 20,000 or so so far without a single Hamas member included according to this health ministry in Gaza. I just find that strange.

Is it like the old roofer joke? You’re a roofer until you fall off the roof but you’re fired before you hit the ground? Palestinians aren’t Hamas, but Hamas are…(?) some %’age of the Palestinian casualties (?) or none (of Hamas) at all have been involved in the Israeli war in Gaza since Oct 7th?

From the outside looking in, if we are racists for not discriminating between Hamas & Palestinians…what are the Gaza/Hamas/Palestinian Health Authority in Gaza if they aren’t discriminating between Palestinians & Hamas members?
Does Canada usually report deaths by party? I don't remember any story that identified the numbers of Libs, Cons, NDPers, etc. in the Humboldt bus crash.
Israel lists casualties like this. Israel has reported 169 of its soldiers killed in its Gaza campaign after Hamas fighters rampaged through Israeli towns in a cross-border raid on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and taking about 240 hostages.

The Palestinian health Authority only reports that Palestinians are harmed. Does that make them inclusive? More inclusive than Israel in the way they report fatalities and casualties? Palestinian health authorities said earlier that 210 people were confirmed killed in Israeli strikes in the past 24 hours, raising the toll of Palestinians killed in the war so far to 21,320 - nearly 1% of Gaza's population. Thousands more dead were feared to be buried or lost in the ruins.

What percentage of the above 21,320 are not Palestinian civilians? 20%? 50%? 0%?
You mean. . . Gazan government agencies word their press releases to fit a narrative they want to put out there?

Despicable! Good thing no other government does that, except for all of them!

A Turkish news presenter was fired for having a Starbucks cup on live TV amid “pro-Palestinians’ boycott of the brand “over its support of Israel.”

Meltem Gunay, a presenter on station TGRT Haber, was criticized for the Starbucks drink on her desk during the broadcast.

She was accused of endorsing the coffee company, which is currently being boycotted by pro-Palestinian activists because of its support of Israel.

Shortly after the appearance of Gunay and her cup, the station announced the anchor was “terminated,” along with the director of the news segment for “covertly advertising” Starbucks.

“Our institution has an understanding that knows the sensitivities of the Turkish people regarding Gaza and defends them to the end. It is absolutely impossible to approve any action or publication contrary to this,” TGRT said in a statement on X.

The station noted: “We do not approve of this action of the presenter and director, whose employment contracts were terminated, and we strongly condemn it. For this reason, their employment contracts were terminated.”

The Istanbul-based media company went on to state who it supports in the Israel-Hamas war.

“From now on, our institution will continue to stand by the Gaza and Turkish people and protect their sensitivities until the end.”

People across Turkey have been boycotting Starbucks over the last couple of months due to what pro-Palestinian defenders claim is the coffee company’s support of Israel.

Social media users in Turkey have shared videos showing protests outside Starbucks locations demanding customers join their cause.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has blasted the Israeli government over its been publicly critical of the Israeli government’s air and ground offensive and heavy strikes in Gaza following Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre in Israel.

Erdogan also called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the “butcher of Gaza” and said he should eventually be tried as a “war criminal,” Reuters reported.

In a story shared on Starbucks’ website, CEO Laxman Narasimhan blamed “misrepresentation on social media of what we stand for,” appearing to address recent controversies over the coffee chain’s stance on Israel and Hamas.

“I am concerned about the state of the world we live in. There are conflicts in many parts,” Narasimhan wrote. “It has unleashed violence against the innocent, hate and weaponized speech, and lies — all of which we condemn.”

He went on to look at how “escalating protests” have resulted in vandalism at many of its stores but appeared to express sympathy for innocent victims in both Israel and Gaza.

“We see protestors influenced by misrepresentation on social media of what we stand for,” he continued. “We have worked with local authorities to ensure our partners and customers are safe. Nothing is more important. Our stance is clear. We stand for humanity.”

Canada isn’t in an open war with anyone. Hamas & Israel are in a war with each other. Israel reports its casualties since Oct 7th as 169 (or whatever number) soldiers, etc…One side does & one side doesn’t.
Well, they should be SEVERELY PUNISHED for their failure to do what Israel wants them to.

Oh, wait. . .

It suits their propaganda narrative.
Precisely. All sides of every war present themselves as the virtuous, upstanding, peaceful folk, intolerably victimised by those evil bastards. Every person killed on our side was a much-beloved benefactor to all, or a selfless hero, or an innocent child/woman/old man. Every person killed on their side was an evil bastard, or even worse, someone who benefited from the horrible oppression of our people by the evil bastards, and therefore had it comin'.

Pretty much nobody ever said "We've got nothing against them. We just wanted their land. Life's a bitch. For them."

That's probably a good thing. Get 'em out of the pressure cooker, they cool off.

The Western world is full of people who left their tribal hatreds behind.
Yeah? How many people killed in 2023 by immigrant terrorists?
Don't be an idiot. Makes you look like a Democrat. It is well documented that many groups raise money in Canada for declared terrorist organizations back home. Which is technically illegal in Canada. But both turdOWE and Singh support terrorist organizations in India. As well as being Jew haters. So these groups get to skate, but a single mom donating $25 to a legal Canadian group turdOWE doesn't like gets her bank account seized.

I'll take that as "none." Thanks. Dwama queen.

I get that you hate anybody who's family hasn't been in Canada as long as yours (unless they're White and from northwestern Europe).

But, c'est la vie. Feel free to run around screaming about the TERRORISTS! in Canada.
Actually, my family hasn't been in Canada all that long. Little better than 100 years. I am second generation. One side came direct from Eastern Europe, the other had to escape from a couple hundred years of yankee domination.

Given that, one might expect you to be a little more sympathetic to immigrants. But I guess not.
