Personal.

So, you never did. Got'cha.

I'm not surprised.

That you don't get sarcasm? Neither am I.

You are wishy-washy.

LOL wishy-washy? Pretty sure my stance hasn't wavered at all.

It's a fucking war that Israel did not want or start.

Sure, that's why when Netanyahu's intelligence people got wind of it and brought it up, no one believed it.

It's why there's reports that Netanyahu's supported Hamas so it keeps Israel having a people they can lay blame on for shit that goes wrong.

Yeah, Israel didn't want this at all.

In comparison to 911, it is about 55 times worse based on the population.

Do we have to compare it to 911? Really?

Fine.

Yes, it's worse than 911 based on population.

You know where it's NOT worse than 911? That Hamas could attack Israel at all.

Combat in built up areas is the toughest combat you will face.

Yes, it is, for a lot of reasons that you and I both can agree with and realize.

"Oh, it was bad what happened to Israel, but please, the Israeli's must think of proportional response." The Hamas propaganda machine loves the wishy washy, because they are enablers.

I think you're confusing me with someone else. I'm not suggesting Israel's response be of 'proportional' measures. Hell, I'm good if Israel's response had been absolute smearing of any member of Hamas into nothing but goo and liquid.

I just suggest Israel actually stick to the fucking people who did this, and not civilians, and that they should know better than to fall into Hamas' trap - like they have - AND that for all their "amazing military and intelligence" they sure can't do shit to find out Hamas members in their own back-fucking-yard.

You can tell me to fuck off all day long, it won't change the fact that you wrote beheading is cultural.

LOL

Because it is. Holy hell, I thought you were supposed to be smart or something.

"Beheading is among the most ancient, widespread, and enduring of human cultural practices. Examples occur in every place, time, and level of culture. In Ashurbanipal’s Nineveh, seventh-century b.c.e. Assyrians heaped heads beneath palm trees, the harvested fruits of victory, tallied by meticulous scribes (fig. 1.1). In his fourteenth-century progresses, Tamerlane piled heads into monitory mountains. Heads were carried aloft by Japanese warriors of the twelfth century, shrunk by Jivaro in the twentieth, tossed by Aztecs in their ball games, collected in baskets by Jehu and the Nazis, preserved in niches by pre-Roman Celts. Headsmen took them off throughout Europe until..."

But I'm sure you'll have issue with the book, claim it's "Liberal" bullshit or something.

So.

"Taking hostages and ritually beheading them has emerged as a popular terrorist tactic for radical groups. Hostages are taken when dramatic results are desired, ransoms are being demanded, or when there is some urgency to the hostage taker’s needs. In unstable and insecure environments such as Iraq, hostages can be obtained easily. Using camcorders and the Internet, any group can mount an international media event at the tactical level that has tremendous strategic impact. Terrorists hope to strike fear into the populace, in order to influence political decisions and weaken the resolve of nations and individuals who might support the global war on terrorism. Their actions also have tremendous cultural and symbolic significance for their audience, which includes other insurgents, potential recruits, and local citizens. Killing hostages is not new, but the growing trend of the graphic murder of noncombatants impels us to study this tactic."

I bolded the important part. I bolded it, for you, so you didn't miss it.

I'll tell you to fuck off because you don't have the balls to admit you're a racist when it comes to Palestinians. To you the only good one is a dead one, regardless of where they're from. And you don't have the balls to admit that you don't give a shit about humanity in general.

The day you grow a pair and admit this shit, is the day you might be just a tad more respectable. At least being a fucking hypocrite will make more sense.

Priest sparks outrage for linking ‘story of Christmas’ to Israel-Hamas war
Author of the article:Denette Wilford
Published Dec 26, 2023 • Last updated 1 day ago • 3 minute read

A priest who appeared on CNN Christmas morning is under fire after he called Jesus a “Palestinian Jew” living in an occupied country.

Father Edward Beck joined Monday morning’s anchors to discuss how to keep faith alive this holiday season with everything going on in the world, specifically, the war between Israel and Hamas.

The regular contributor was asked about the “pain and suffering” taking place in Gaza and to address those who are feeling “hopeless.”

“I think the message of Christmas is that God enters into it with us and we’re not alone in it,” Beck said.

“What I’m so struck by is that the story of Christmas is about a Palestinian Jew; how often do you find those words put together? A Palestinian Jew born into a time when his country was occupied, right?”

Beck continued: “They can’t find a place for her to even give birth, his mother. They’re homeless. They eventually have to flee as refugees into Egypt, no less. I mean, you can’t make up the parallels to our current world situation right now.”

Jesus was Jewish and born in the town of Bethlehem, according to the New Testament, where the word “Palestine” is never mentioned.

“And so in some way, that is who we believe God becomes born into that situation and yet, that very man, Jesus, says love one another, love your enemies,” Beck added.

“There is hope. There is light in the darkness. I’m attesting to that. So somehow that God enters that experience of suffering and that struggle and is actually born into it. That is what is so miraculous about this celebration for me.”

Critics ripped the priest for his take on the history of Jesus Christ.

“This is embarrassingly wrong,” New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz posted on X.

Avi Nir-Feldklein, ambassador of Israel to Norway and Iceland, asked, “I wonder which gospel is the right one, Father’s Beck or Matthew’s. Was it Palestine or Judaea?”

Nir-Feldklein went on to Matthew 2:1: “When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod,* behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, ‘Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star* at its rising and have come to do him homage.’”

Foundation for Defense of Democracies research fellow Hussain Abdul-Hussain suggested, “Father Beck has to stop watching Al-Jazeera and start reading the New Testament.”

Beck doubled down, sharing an article on X called “Jesus, Jews, and Palestinians,” sharing a quote that read, “remembering that the name ‘Palestinian’ has long referred to Muslims, Jews, and others who have lived in that part of the world for generations.”

That post also did not go over well.

“We all heard you on CNN today, claiming that Jesus was a Palestinian Jew, and comparing his plight with Palestinians today being forced to ‘flee into Egypt,’” Samwawal Foundations founder Avi Kaner responded.

“Shame on you for inciting hate reminiscent of blood libels.”

Beck replied, “Sorry you heard what you wanted to hear. But my message was one of unity and solidarity — with both Israel, and with suffering Palestinians. The more we accentuate our differences, the less love there will be in the world.”

Do NOT fucking tell me that they deserve it.

This is the West Bank, not Gaza, has nothing to do with Hamas, as Hamas are against the PA, who are in charge of the West Bank.

Israel has NO claims to the West Bank.

Yet they're there, taking illegally.

Israel is NOT a fucking victim, it's part of the problem.

At least I can admit Hamas is part of the problem of this continual insanity in Israel.

Unlike a lot of those here.

There's no excuse; NONE, for what's happening to these 500 families.

500. Vs's 500,000 who are illegal.

If you're pissed off what happened to the people of Israel on the 7th, then shit like these settlers terrorizing farmers should piss you off too.

If not, you're a fucking hypocrite and you don't give a shit about this situation, you just want to see Israel kill a bunch of towel/rag heads and Muslims (and Christians; so long as they're Arab, religion doesn't matter.)

At least grow a pair of balls to admit it.
Wasn't it nice of the Israeli's to give that land back in the name of peace same as the Gaza strip?

Hamas isn’t going to agree to remove themselves, or remove themselves from power over Gaza. It’s not in their charter. The Hamas goal isn’t peace, or the preservation of Arab/Palestinian lives, but the elimination of all Jewish lives in Israel and elsewhere as well as the erasure of Israel as a concept.

Israel will not want to agree to something that doesn’t involve Hamas being removed from Gaza for their own security after promises of repeated repeats of Oct 7th.

Not sure where the happy medium between the two of them will be, without the complete elimination of one side or the other, and which one will agree to their own complete elimination?
Of course not it was a proposal for the Palestinian civilians to rally around, if Egypt really cared they wouldn't have refused the Gaza strip when it was offered back to them at the same time as the Sinai peninsula

No, the idea you didn't seem to get Hamas wants power is what's funny af.

And I guess maybe thinking the deal had a snowball's chance in hell of being okay'd.

Not because civilians wouldn't want it, but Hamas will never let it happen.

But on the flip side, Hamas won't ever be out of control because Israel keeps massacring people who are innocent and pushing civilians into the arms of Hamas, since they're being proven right about Israel.

There's no way any sort of agreement will be reached at this point without some serious bending over and being fucked.
The biggest problem that is going to come from this is that we the western world and especially here in Canada are going to inherent the problem because no Arab country wants the refugees not even Iran or Russia who is instigating this attack on Oct. 7th that kicked this latest skirmish off.

That's probably a good thing. Get 'em out of the pressure cooker, they cool off.

The Western world is full of people who left their tribal hatreds behind.

Weird observation but…. As I sort of try and keep abreast of the goat-rodeo that is the Middle East….& specifically this Hamas Israel Gaza Palestine Arab lovefest… I’ve noticed something interesting in the way it’s reported.

Since Oct 7th, pretty consistently, as Israel is now in Gaza, the health authority in Gaza, which is the one reporting casualties, fatalities, etc… never ever reports that a single Hamas member is ever harmed…. It’s always Palestinians and nothing else ever, 20,000 or so so far without a single Hamas member included according to this health ministry in Gaza. I just find that strange.

Is it like the old roofer joke? You’re a roofer until you fall off the roof but you’re fired before you hit the ground? Palestinians aren’t Hamas, but Hamas are…(?) some %’age of the Palestinian casualties (?) or none (of Hamas) at all have been involved in the Israeli war in Gaza since Oct 7th?

From the outside looking in, if we are racists for not discriminating between Hamas & Palestinians…what are the Gaza/Hamas/Palestinian Health Authority in Gaza if they aren’t discriminating between Palestinians & Hamas members?

Israel lists casualties like this. Israel has reported 169 of its soldiers killed in its Gaza campaign after Hamas fighters rampaged through Israeli towns in a cross-border raid on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and taking about 240 hostages.

The Palestinian health Authority only reports that Palestinians are harmed. Does that make them inclusive? More inclusive than Israel in the way they report fatalities and casualties? Palestinian health authorities said earlier that 210 people were confirmed killed in Israeli strikes in the past 24 hours, raising the toll of Palestinians killed in the war so far to 21,320 - nearly 1% of Gaza's population. Thousands more dead were feared to be buried or lost in the ruins.

What percentage of the above 21,320 are not Palestinian civilians? 20%? 50%? 0%?

The health authority in Gaza includes Hamas deaths in the deaths of Palestinians. It doesn't separate them from the civilians.

Because they're a terrorist organization and like China or North Korea, their 'military' can't *ever* be hurt, it'd ruin their 'image'.
