Asymmetrical warfare is a twisted thing. The days of two military forces lining up across from each other in a field with single shot muskets…while each side wears their own brightly (& opposing) coloured uniforms…before charging each other with their bayonets… has come and gone.
Every Palestinian civilian ‘martyred’ is a win for Hamas. Makes me think back to previous conflicts in the Middle East that involved western forces, where, as soon as a bomb drops, a wedding would break out below it.
Probably, no mention of it overtly. Israel hints at "chasing" Hamas but there's no proof as of yet.
The problem comes up with Israel at first attacked the north, telling people to "Go south for safety".
Now they're hitting the south.
