WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) — A middle school teacher in Georgia was arrested after witnesses told a sheriff’s investigator he threatened to cut off the head of a student who objected to an Israeli flag in his classroom.

Benjamin Reese, a teacher at Warner Robins Middle School, was taken into custody on Dec. 8 on charges of making terroristic threats and cruelty to children, according to Houston County jail records. He was released on bond two days later.

A message to his school email address was not immediately returned. Calls to possible phone listings for Reese, 51, were also not immediately returned or went unanswered. Houston County District Attorney William Kendall said Reese had requested a public defender, but no attorney was listed for him.

The student told a sheriff’s investigator she went into Reese’s classroom on Dec. 7 after spotting the flag and told him she found it offensive because Israelis were killing Palestinians. According to the student, Reese said he was Jewish, got angry and accused her of being anti-Semitic.

Witnesses, including staff, said they heard Reese use expletives and yell that he should cut off the student’s head.

In a statement, Houston County School District spokeswoman Jennifer Jones said Reese had not returned to the middle school since Dec. 7.

His bond conditions require him to stay away from the school and the student he is accused of threatening, Kendall said.

The district attorney added that he plans to seek an indictment from a grand jury next month.
Sounds like my grade five teacher.

The US is to announce the launch of an expanded maritime protection force involving Arab states to combat the increasingly frequent Houthi attacks being mounted from Yemen’s ports on commercial shipping in the Red Sea.

The force, provisionally entitled Operation Prosperity Guardian, is due to be announced by the defence secretary, Lloyd Austin, when he visits the Middle East. Much like the Task Force 153 already operating out of Bahrain, the larger protection force is designed to provide reassurance to commercial shipping companies that Houthi attacks will be seen off, and that the sea remains safe for commercial shipping.

The first serious assault on a student (it wasn’t me) I witnessed personally was when I was in Grade 5 (on another Grade 5 student) by a teacher…so we where 10 or 11 years old. No weapons or threats of be heading though. By the time I realized what was happening (in the library at the school) it was midway through things going down. Never saw that teacher again after that day, so maybe he was transferred out??? It was pretty brutal.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators held a rally outside the U.S. Consulate in downtown Toronto on Saturday afternoon to demand an immediate ceasefire in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.

These Canadians protested waving an ocean of Palestinian and Canadian flags…except for the Canadian flags part…but there is the occasional Lebanese and Hamas flag.

The demonstration is the latest weekend mass rally led by pro-Palestinian activists since the start of the current conflict on Oct. 7.

The event is organized by the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM), an international organization whose local chapter in Toronto has co-ordinated some of the largest pro-Palestinian demonstrations in the city. The American chapter of the PYM has has been designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. government.

The group has been criticized for appearing to express support for Hama’s initial attack and hosting rallies across Canada and the United States in its wake. Two days after the attack in Israel, in which Hamas killed about 1,200 people and took more than 240 others hostage, PYM’s post referred to it as “active decolonization of Palestinian land led by the Palestinian resistance … in response to decades of brutal colonization and occupation.” Etc…

Organizers have billed this rally as being in support of health care workers in Gaza. Reuters reported earlier this month that 250 health care workers have been killed in Gaza since the war began. This figure comes from the Hamas health ministry in the Hamas-run territory.

Seriously, isn’t it weird that all these protesters protesting in Canada are assumably Canadians…or guests of Canada…or Landed Immigrants or Refugees in Canada…& never a Canadian Flag???
Ya, all those "educated" students who have been brainwashed about the M.E. situation. It would behoove them to do some research into the history of the M.E. but it's easier simply to "go along" without knowing what it is you're protesting. There are vids on-line showing individuals asking these protesters why they're protesting and not one person could give a valid reason. They're just going along, thinking that they're doing something positive when in fact they're doing the opposite.
