Wasn’t that about when Egypt tried to cut Israel out’a Shipping again…& then several neighbouring nations (and a few militia groups) decided to become unneighbourly to Israel again….all at the same time? Start to finish in about six days? Something like that?
You mean back when Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan sold their souls to the Soviets in exchange for arms and grain?

Why would they do that? Because of Canada and France setting Israel up with nuclear capabilities in 1955. By 1963 they became a menace with Kennedy and Ben-Gurion getting in shit fights. The US was worried about Soviet nukes being deployed to the Mid East.

BTW, Like Putin, Netanyahu has tactical nukes too.

Hamas could go for a strike on a nuke the same way Putin could hit a Ukr nuker.

Israel is believed to have begun full-scale production of nuclear weapons following the 1967 Six-Day War, although it had built its first operational nuclear weapon by December 1966.[12] A Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) report from early 1967 stated that Israel had the materials to construct a bomb in six to eight weeks[67] and some authors suggest that Israel had two crude bombs ready for use during the war.[1] According to US journalist Seymour Hersh, everything was ready for production at this time save an official order to do so. Israel crossed the nuclear threshold on the eve of the Six-Day War in May 1967.[68] "[Prime Minister Levi] Eshkol, according to a number of Israeli sources, secretly ordered the Dimona [nuclear reactor] scientists to assemble two crude nuclear devices. He placed them under the command of Brigadier General Yitzhak Yaakov, the chief of research and development in Israel's Defense Ministry. One official said the operation was referred to as Spider because the nuclear devices were inelegant contraptions with appendages sticking out. The crude atomic bombs were readied for deployment on trucks that could race to the Egyptian border for detonation in the event Arab forces overwhelmed Israeli defenses."[68]

I thought Israel scavenged the nuclear material for their first nuclear weapons from the ocean (sort of). That one is still controversial. They can trace it back (the nuclear material has something like a fingerprint with its composition) and for all I know, originally it might’ve come from Saskatchewan.

Once the hostages are released, Tel Aviv will make their Gaza incursion

Biden might have told them to postpone their incursion for this reason. The USA and allies kept exerting pressure on Egypt, Jordan, Qatar and other Arab countries for the purpose of releasing the hostages.
Tel Aviv Zionists do not hold with their covenants and pacts.

I remember here the hostages in Iran, the same: the USA exerted pressure and its allies with it, until at last the hostages were released, and once they were released, the Iraqi forces in the time of Saddam made their incursion into Iran and the Iraq-Iran war started.

You probably forgot that Iraq was a client state of the USSR at the time.

“Hamas has it within their power to release all the hostages today. If they really cared about the state of the Palestinian people, they would release those hostages and make sure that humanitarian aid would flow quickly,”
BUT….more than two weeks later, so far, they’ve released….four?….last I heard it was four.

So at this rate, averaging one every 4.5 days….assuming “only” 200-ish kidnapped hostages of various nations from Israel from infants to 90yr olds…in well over two YEARS….they might all be released?
I remember here the hostages in Iran, the same: the USA exerted pressure and its allies with it, until at last the hostages were released, and once they were released, the Iraqi forces in the time of Saddam made their incursion into Iran and the Iraq-Iran war started.
I remember 18 days ago, when Hamas Terrorist Arseholes murdered 1400 and abducted 200-250 others on a holiday inside Israel…and now you’re bitching about Israel needing to only proportionally retaliate while demanding the release of these hostages? “F*ck Around & Find Out” the consequences to their actions.

If Hamas Released the Hostages, and surrendered, the Gaza is…is what Torch light? What happens to Gaza if Hamas just isn’t there to be sought after? Big nothing! Some 222 people aged from 9 months to 85 years were seized on Oct. 7 when Hamas and other militants went on a killing spree through southern Israel, shooting motorists, hunting down civilians, including children in their own homes, and burning and stabbing people to death, according to survivors' accounts.

Thousands of Palestinian Rubes that Hamas is hiding behind are no longer human shields in Gaza. Pull your head out of your backside buddy, or don’t, totally your call. Israel has responded with a bombing campaign and a siege of Gaza. Hamas has urged Palestinians to ignore the Israeli warnings to move themselves to southern Gaza.

“The Palestinian people have been subjected to 56 years of suffocating occupation.
They have seen their land steadily devoured by settlements and plagued by violence;
their economy stifled; their people displaced and their homes demolished.
Their hopes for a political solution to their plight have been vanishing,” Guterres added.
Guterres would have appeared like a statesman had he used the opportunity to scold the Palestinians for not accepting the UN’s 1947 partition plan and for consistently scuttling opportunities for peace.

He could have held the Palestinians accountable for creating and supporting Hamas. He could have castigated them for decades of incessant terrorist attacks against Israelis and relentless incitement against Jews.

Guterres could have used the moment to critique the UN for maintaining the status quo by ensuring Palestinians remain as perpetual refugees. He could have criticized the antisemitic indoctrination of Palestinian students in UN-run schools…But he chose not to.
But this word of truth said by the Secretary General of the UN Guterres was disliked by the Wicked Zionists of Tel Aviv.
That’s because this is equivalent to telling the Rwandan Tutsis that they were responsible for their own murders.

It’s like telling the girls that Boko Haram kidnapped and raped that it was their fault.

It’s akin to telling Ukrainians that they invited the Russian slaughter.
I add also that Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Quds/ Jerusalem has been violated by the Wicked Zionists of Tel Aviv, which will lead to their destruction, but they - with their stubborn stupidity - cannot see it.
Like the instantaneous false blame Israel received over the bombing of the hospital in Gaza, where Hamas or their bedmates literally shot themselves…& within minutes had a death toll to blame on the IDF…
1698594476349.jpeg
…& yes, if Israel didn’t exist, then the Hamas Butt-Buddies in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad wouldn’t have been firing missiles from the cemetery behind the hospital so it’s Israel’s fault. Allah works in mysterious ways.
Once the hostages are released, Tel Aviv will make their Gaza incursion
How’s that working out?

The Iran–Iraq War was an armed conflict between Iran and Iraq that lasted from September 1980 to August 1988. It began with the Iraqi invasion of Iran and lasted for eight years, until the acceptance of United Nations Security Council Resolution 598 by both sides.
1698596668271.jpegIraq's primary rationale for the attack against Iran cited the need to prevent Ruhollah Khomeini—who had spearheaded the Iranian Revolution in 1979—from exporting the new Iranian ideology to Iraq; there were also fears among the Iraqi leadership of Saddam Husseinthat Iran, a theocratic state with a population predominantly composed of Shia Muslims, would exploit sectarian tensions in Iraq by rallying Iraq's Shia majority against the Baʽathist government, which was officially secular and dominated by Sunni Muslims.
1698596487622.jpegIraq also wished to replace Iran as the power player in the Persian Gulf…so if Israel didn’t exist the Sunni & Shia Muslims wouldn’t have been fighting with each other? Yeah, got it.

Yes, because we must forget Britain ALSO promised the Arab people their own lands after the Ottoman empire went down, and that included the Palestinians. Guess who didn't get that homeland.

He could have held the Palestinians accountable for creating and supporting Hamas.

True.

He could have castigated them for decades of incessant terrorist attacks against Israelis and relentless incitement against Jews.

Nevermind the incitements of Jews against Muslims, right?

Guterres could have used the moment to critique the UN for maintaining the status quo by ensuring Palestinians remain as perpetual refugees.

True.

He could have criticized the antisemitic indoctrination of Palestinian students in UN-run schools

Wait, there's proof the UN was doing this?

And that's a crock and you know it, Ron.

Loathe as I am to side with Torch on anything and unlike him I also blame Hamas/Muslims/Arabs for the continued bullshit, he's not wrong to push on Israel for it's faults in this too.

I didn’t state the UN was doing this, but that it was happening in UN-run schools, in this case in Gaza, but I can see the confusion as I wasn’t very clear.
“Unfortunately today when a Palestinian child when he goes to the UNRWA school, he comes out hating Jews, incited, supporting Hamas. It shouldn’t be that funding from Western societies, Western democracies will support such curriculum,”
…etc….& who sets out the curriculum and the textbooks in UNWRA schools in Gaza and the West Bank?

Wow...

Lots I want to say but it all boils down to - fuck the 'teachers' in these schools, and if they're UN run, they need to either put in PROPER teachers, or shut down the schools. Cause this is beyond bullshit and they should fucking know better.

And a bunch of other words including swearing :|

Religion of Peace? Allahu Akbar? The unrest in the region, where Russian security forces once fought an Islamist insurgency, could pose another challenge for Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is waging a war in Ukraine and who has faced an attempted mutiny this year.

Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters stormed an airport in Russia's predominantly Muslim Dagestan region on Sunday, where a plane from Israel had just arrived, forcing security forces to close the airport and remove the demonstrators.

The Russian Aviation Authority closed the airport until it completes security checks. There were no immediate reports of arrests, but Russia's federal investigations agency ordered a criminal probe into the incident.
During the Islamic conquests, the Dagestani people (region of Derbent) were the first people to become Muslims within current Russian territory, after the Arab conquest of the region in 643.[21] In the 8th century Arabs repeatedly clashed with the Khazars. Although the local population rose against the Arabs of Derbent in 905 and 913, Islam was still adopted in urban centers, such as Samandarand Kubachi (Zerechgeran), from where it steadily diffused into the highlands. By the 15th century, Christianity had died away, leaving a 10th-century Church of Datuna as the sole monument to its existence.

Video on social media showed some in the crowd waving Palestinian flags and others trying to overturn a police car. Antisemitic slogans can be heard being shouted and some in the crowd examined the passports of arriving passengers, apparently in an attempt to identify those who were Israeli.

Video footage showed rioters with Palestinian flags shouting “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) as they searched the terminals for Israeli passengers, Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) reported.

Other videos showed protesters stopping vehicles in the area to ask motorists if they were transporting tourists from the Jewish state.

“We came for the Jews — to kill them with a knife and shoot them,” a rioter was quoted as saying, according to JNS.

Well, at least this news site isn’t calling these rioters “Protesters”….
* The majority of Dagestanis are Sunni Muslims at approximately 80%.

Vs Aljazerra: Hundreds of people have stormed the main airport in Russia’s Dagestan region, ostensibly to protest the arrival of a flight from Israel.

Adrienne Watson, a spokesperson for the White House National Security Council, condemned the protests and said the United States “unequivocally stands with the entire Jewish community as we witness a worldwide surge in antisemitism”.

On Saturday a crowd in the city of Khasavyurt in Dagestan gathered outside a hotel where they believed some Israelis were staying, a local news website, ChP Dagestan, reported.

Later police reportedly let some into the hotel so they could see for themselves that no Israelis were there.

Since the October 7 Hamas massacre of over 1,400 people in Israel, Hamas supporters and other antisemitic actors have threatened and targeted Jewish and Israeli individuals and institutions worldwide.

SARCELLES, France — In the usually lively “Little Jerusalem” neighborhood of Sarcelles, the only people loitering are gun-toting French soldiers on patrol.

Since Hamas’ deadly assault against Israel on October 7, this largely Jewish enclave in the northern suburbs of Paris has gone eerily quiet, with locals keeping their movements to a minimum, and with restaurants and cafés bereft of their regular clientele — fearing an increasing number of antisemitic attacks across France.

France has seen more antisemitic incidents in the last three weeks than over the past year: 501 offenses ranging from verbal abuse and antisemitic graffiti, to death threats and physical assaults have been reported. Antisemitic acts under investigation include groups gathering in front of synagogues shouting threats and graffiti such as the words “killing Jews is a duty” sprayed outside a stadium in Carcassonne in the southwest.

The interior minister has deployed extra police and soldiers at Jewish schools, places of worship and community centers since the attacks, and in Sarcelles that means soldiers guard school pick-ups and drop-offs. Sarcelles France population is 34.4% Muslim.

Then over in England:

Then there’s Mosab Hassan Yousef, he made a choice, as the son of the founder of Hamas.
