Would Jesus, the Bringer of Light, condemn Yahweh for his mass murders?

Reading the bible gives ones a certain idea of the character and sense of justice Jesus advocated. This is exemplified by his, “I come for the ill and not the well”, --- when asked why he hung out with the heathen other.

When comparing that attitude to Yahweh being moved by Satan to destroy man because of his own grand children’s antics, I note the conflict in attitude, where a Triune God would not have any.

Logically and morally, Jesus would condemn Yahweh because he believes in curing instead of killing.

I think Jesus to be way more moral and that Christianity screwed itself when it went Trinitarian, homophobic, and misogynous.

Be you a believer or not, this question is important, IMO, as Christianity and churches are still preaching for those abuses, against the law of the land.

Jesus no, he had plenty of opportunities in the New Testament and is not recorded as doing so, despite his core message being significantly at variance with what we see of Yahweh in the Old Testament. Satan yes, he's the adversary after all, of course he would, that's his job.

That’s one way to interpret it I suppose, though if god has the characteristics usually ascribed to him he doesn’t make mistakes. Jesus is reported in the NT as saying both that the old contract is still in force, that bit about not one jot or tittle of the law shall pass away, and that he represents a new deal. Take your pick. And stepping back to reality from Christian mythology, it’s clear from the fossil record that there have been at least five mass extinction events in the history of life on earth, which suggests to me that if this deity has any reality he got it wrong five times and did a massive reset for mysterious reasons of his own.

That and much else becomes much more explicable if you take the view that the postulated deity is a human invention. In particular it solves the problem of evil.

They will not step up to the adulthood, of standing on their own.

Pity for such should be our response, while fighting the evil side of their religions.

I am sure I will agree with whatever definition you want for premeditated mass murder by an entity that could cure just as easily.

The real number is likely quite low.

Religions are all tribes.

We would still have divisive tribes even if we did not call them religions.

Jewry is in the same boat as other tribes. In their case, they are led by their oral traditions and those put man above the Gods we have created. Like many, their right wings have corrupted their thinking by belief in the supernatural.

In the movie, the Jews, even while not killing their logic and reason, end in praying to the God they just condemned.

Tribal affiliation has become more important than the morals and ethics they use.

That is why Christians can adore a vile and evil God.
