That's my take on it too. Enough red flags to piss off every bull on the planet. I doubt he'll be allowed to skip by the courts, but we'll seeSo….in answer to your question, I have no idea….but this comes across as super greasy.

He doesn’t have to be allowed to skip this, he just has to drag it out for five weeks and then the testimony is done due to a tight timeframe. Still very greasy & something I’d actually expect from Trudeau first, but here we are…That's my take on it too. Enough red flags to piss off every bull on the planet. True ,doesn't seem like a very 'conservative' attitude. He doesn’t have to be allowed to skip this, he just has to drag it out for five weeks and then the testimony is done due to a tight timeframe. Still very greasy & something I’d actually expect from Trudeau first, but here we are…
Obeying his federal overlords despite all the evidence to the contrary .Wow. I wonder what HE'S so afraid of.
Facts, mostly.Wow. I wonder what HE'S so afraid of.
Well considering the public unions threw their own people under the bus when it came to covid, probably wouldn't have exactly been FOR them, but i bet he'd have been a lot more quiet.I have been wondering how singh would have felt about the convoy if they were mostly government union workers instead of independent business people?
I wonder how Singh would have felt if he realized just how many truckers also wear turbans.I have been wondering how singh would have felt about the convoy if they were mostly government union workers instead of independent business people?
That came up - remember his brother donated to the convoy. When he found out he lost his shit and made him take back the donation and claim he didn't know what he was donating to He didn't win a lot of friends with that move. And now he's getting harassed at his visits.I wonder how Singh would have felt if he realized just how many truckers also wear turbans.
Maybe they mean the Men of Westernesse. The report provides no proof of foreign involvement, and does not indicate where the OPP’s intelligence came from.

I’m putting a five cent bet on the CBC!! Takers?
The OPP’s Feb. 19 assessment about possible foreign interference appears to be at odds with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), the federal agency responsible for keeping tabs on domestic national security threats.
Well, Westernesse are not “Foreign” influences in Canada at this point. Where were you on the night of February 19th, 2022?Maybe they mean the Men of Westernesse.
Ain't that always the way?Well, Westernesse are not “Foreign” influences in Canada at this point. Where were you on the night of February 19th, 2022?
(above I meant the CBC as the source of OPP intelligence that CSIS did not have access to)
Yes and the idiot could have hugely done increased his parties support if he embraced the truckers from the start , yet they are now headed once again back to irrelevancy . But he and his cohorts are due for the golden pension if they can just hang on .The head of the RCMP told a senior government official shortly before the Emergencies Act was invoked to address the convoy protest in Ottawa that she believed police had not yet exhausted “all available tools” to end the occupation, the public inquiry examining the government’s response heard late Monday.
Whoops!! Exhausted all avenues leaving the Emergencies Act as the only Avenue left available….not so much…
The email from RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki to Mike Jones, chief of staff to Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, was sent just after midnight on Feb. 14 — hours before Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced he was invoking the never-before-used emergency powers.

Bell told the inquiry earlier Monday that the “unlawful” activity of several of the protesters, combined with the “trauma” residents in downtown Ottawa faced, made the convoy unmanageable and “unprecedented” for police.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is attempting to use parliamentary privilege as a shield to prevent him from testifying in the Emergencies Act inquiry, according to new documents filed with a federal court on Tuesday.
The filings, shared by the Premier’s Office with Global News, suggest that Ford, as well as former solicitor general Sylvia Jones, hope to have their appeal heard by Nov. 1.
If a judge sides with the Ford government, the Premier may be able to duck the hot seat and avoid testifying at the Emergencies Act Inquiry.
Neither Ford nor Jones appeared in the legislature during Question Period on Tuesday.
Thankfully, it appears to keen observers that an official finding against the government is approaching. This is what likely explains Jagmeet Singh’s public musings about whether in that event his party would withdraw its confidence and support to bring down Justin Trudeau’s Government. On CTV’s Question Period, Singh said that “simply because it was the wrong decision wouldn’t be enough.”
If misleading the country into supporting the most unconstitutional abuse of power imaginable isn’t sufficient, it is unclear what would.
Canada appears close to crossing an event horizon, into a place where information about corruption, dishonesty, or even illegality becomes simply irrelevant. Accordingly, in the event that the government is found wanting, it is up to the people of Canada to provide the necessary accountability.
Thanks to Singh, that may not be hastened by the commissions’ findings, but a reckoning will surely come. It is in the national interest that this take place at the ballot box, and soon.

I think the pension is the only thing he really cares about. He knows he's toast next election. He's not going to add seats, he may well lose seats, and it'll be his forth kick at the can - his party will almost certainly decide they need a new leader after that. He may hang on to his seat but his days as leader are done.Yes and the idiot could have hugely done increased his parties support if he embraced the truckers from the start , yet they are now headed once again back to irrelevancy .
