It's all still different degrees of right wing as far as Canadians see, and I just don't think there are enough of them to win an election for PeePee. They need new converts, and PeePee doesn't seem very good at appealing to anyone but the far right. He keeps pushing weak policies, all shored up by Trudeau-hate, and that strategy has lost them three elections in a row.
Fiscal responsibility should appeal to everyone. Except maybe freeloaders.

The smart move would be to decriminalize possession of all drugs and implement mandatory treatment for all users. This would not only put a serious dent in the drug dealer's income, it would also reduce crime.
Mandatory ! Good luck .

More to the point, how many of them are there ? Most Liberals and NDP are in full support of their respective parties even with the recent developments.
That is wishful thinking on your behalf . Most of those participating in the freedom demonstrations across the country were/are your typical working class Canadian who vote liberal/NDP , the two leaders shat all over their base . All they have left is the public sector union vote , which is considerable sure , but not enough to carry the country .

It does. "Liberal overspending" is a favoured talking point for those who would support austerity measures, which invariably puts the load on low and middle income earners.
Yet they keep voting for far left parties in hope of getting some of that "free" money for themselves, without a care for future generations.

So he will be the next PM then

You can keep telling yourself that, but if you actually believe it you're an idiot. People keep voting for the left to keep the right out of power because they have shit to offer. That's why they keep going after the "angry vote", because they know better than anyone that an angry voter is not a thinking voter.

You are so wrong. People vote left because they are freeloaders with no sense of fiscal responsibility.

Showing you have no clue why people actually vote left at all. Maybe if you and other 'righties' learned why, you'd be dangerous. Until then, your ignorance is what will keep the right out of power.

Regardless of the reasons for voting left, the 2 current left leaning parties have no sense of fiscal responsibility so that trait cannot be high on the list of priorities of left leaning voters. So his statement to that regard was accurate. I don't have enough data to comment on the freeloading part of the comment.

What have you got against fiscal prudence ? Do you personally spend more then you earn ?

I think when it's 'fiscal' vs what some may feel are rights, rights will win out.

Personally, while I'm more left leaning socially, I hate this bullshit way of fiscal irresponsibility that keeps happening. I can adapt that to times and circumstances, sure, but in the end just throwing money away doesn't help anything.

But living in a province where we've a Conservative Government, and going through the destruction this man is doing to my home (no, didn't vote for his skanky ass), and seeing other Cons are more like his line of thinking, it doesn't endear me to vote his type of Con at all.

Throw in that our "Purple Party" crossed the floor to join them, and they're racist jerks, doesn't help either.

And here I am hearing from other sources that your premier is a liberal with a blue tie . Who to believe .

Pierre Poilievre is running as a libertarian conservative, will he be for decriminalizing soft drugs and prostitution?

Pierre Poilievre opposes authoritarian bills like C-10 which censor speech and the Emergencies Act which froze bank accounts. He wants Canada to be the freest country in the world. Will that freedom include decriminalizing soft drugs and prostitution as well?

Who knows? PP may be in favor of legalizing bank robberies also. Now that plan I like. You've got my vote, PP. (y)

But you being a communist and all, you must be enjoying having your beloved dictator in Ottawa, who does not believe in rights and freedoms. Just your kinds of communist like rights and freedoms will be okay with that communist dictator. The Turd is such a skank, and you could be seen as one also. Just saying. :D
