Don't get me wrong, I actually agree and in this, there was an unfair advantage and it's clear that there was.
It's got nothing to do with the person being Trans though, rather the fact she's taller than the other two and thus had more reach. If there had been another woman in the event just as tall, it'd be at least fairer.

Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer from the University of Pennsylvania whose participation on the women’s team sparked national headlines this season, finished last place in the 100-yard freestyle final at the NCAA women’s swimming championships in Georgia on Saturday night.
Finished LAST in the freestyle.
Guess being a trans woman DOESN'T make you automatically a 'winner'.

IMO, she is the PERFECT example of why kids should be allowed to hormone block to discover if they are Trans and if so, then be allowed to take the proper hormone once it's determined which gender they are. That way they can be closer to who they are and NOT have to deal with this kind of BS in their life.
This is what happens when the "let them make the choice as an adult" excuse happens. They transition and it's still not enough.
But then if that happened, people like Boom couldn't scream about 'unfairness' and be upset that Trans people are more equal now cause they're not as easy to spot and OMG how DARE Trans people want to be normal!

Children should be children.. not abused by sexually deviant adults trying to groom a child.
Gender, not sex, and these kids are already dealing with it, sometimes at age 4 or 5.
