As it happens, I don't even like Piers Morgan. Much of what he says I disagree with. Back in 2004, as editor of The Daily Mirror, he published a photo of British troops in Iraq pissing on Iraqi soldiers on its front page. Turns out it was fake and he resigned. Also whilst editor he hacked the mobile phone of a murdered teenage girl.
During the coronavirus pandemic he's been telling Brits on Good Morning Britain and on Twitter to stay home and don't be "covidiots". He even wrote a book about the pandemic in which he attacks "covidiots". Then, a couple of months ago, the hypocrite was pictured on holiday in the Caribbean.
He once got punched in the face by Jeremy Clarkson.
However, in this case, on calling Markle a liar, I agree with him. He's right.
And the fact is, it's been PROVEN that Meghan lied. And yet he was still hounded out of his job for it, for speaking proven truth.
I've heard that former BBC political pundit Andrew Neill may be wanting to recruit Morgan to his new GB News, the new right-wing news channel being launched soon. I'd love to see Morgan on that with his own show. And Farage, too. I then might start warming to him.
