This is such a weird situation (the American Election, not Canadians arguing about it, though that's weird too). The US Race is close enough that until the State Certificates come out on Dec 8th I think everything else if just pissing in the wind. It's the media hired pollsters (& we know that media in the US or Canada can't have a bias, right?) predictions, and we saw how accurate they where in 2016 or this time around with the 'Blue Wave' that never happened with both Biden & Trump so close that there is a reason for this thread. Why don't we just wait and see what's said on Dec 8th 2020 and then the gloating and such from either or both sides will make more sense.
Right now, in all honesty, factoring out the media bias, I don't know who's actually won the US Election, & there seems to be nothing unbiased from either side (including the media) to tell who's actually won that election. I'm not rooting for either one of these guys either. One is crazy as a shit-house rat & the other one Super Creepy, and neither are worth bothering to vote for but those two where the choices the Americans had to choose from.
From a Canadian stand point, both of the US choices are Protectionist & Insular (Buy American First & damn NAFTA or USMCA or what have you), and neither is going to do us any favours in real trade disputes like the ongoing Softwood Lumber dispute which greatly affects BC & Quebec, etc...& Biden claims to be against Keystone XL (though that's been bought and paid for with 10,000 American jobs) and has claimed that he'd cancel it like Obama did & Trump undid which greatly affects AB & SK. US Protectionist leadership doesn't help Manufacturing in Ontario or elsewhere in spite of any trade agreements.
God forbid Trump actually comes out as having won this debacle down south of us, Trudeau was out there in the media congratulating Biden already instead of waiting until Dec 8th to see who actually won (whoops) and Trump had a tad of an ego problem already. Yikes. For that fact alone I'm hoping that Biden actually wins this thing so Canada can avoid another India Tickle-Trunk like national scandal due to Justin's foot being in Canada's mouth again. Doesn't this clown (our clown, not either of theirs) have an advisor that he listens to???

Sad as it sounds I feel the voting process need to be fully revamped.
The whole "the cheque is in the mail" stated with unfettered assurance has me wondering.
