I got a coke can (full can) and a glass. They gave it to me by placing it on my table. No contact. I got a bag when I got on with a mask, a hand sanitizer, pretzels and a water bottle and a letter from the president of Air Canada. No alcohol or food (in economy).
Thanks. THAT is informative. I am curious about the current state of flying ......as I have not flown during the pandemic. at all. Have a good one. ;-)

The Air Canada attendants on the ground and in the air were exceptionally friendly. I do think this counts as one of the signs of the apocalypse.

I wouldn't be surprised if our flying days are almost at an end. Actually THAT doesn't hurt my feelings one bit. If we were meant to fly we'd have been born with wings. Just too much bad shit happening these days to take the risk and as the flying population decreases the fares will never meet the cost of building new planes. Air pollution will also decrease immensely.

Yeah it is a shame Ron is either no longer a moderator, or does not have time for it. We end up with Pete, and the results speak for themselves. We have a man who will not only bully, but commit libel against any poster he has an issue with. If he bans me, he will move on to the next in line who harbors a dislike of Trump, and social distancing of COVID.
Pete is pretty much ruining this forum. This forum is beginning to have a reputation for right wing extremists, and I no longer care what Pete does, since I no longer respect him.
Go cry to mom.

If you watch closely you will realize the hostile ones are not the most subtle, have a cool room temperature I.Q. and generally add NOTHING to any of the topics being discussed. They are a bit like Trump and barge their way in. :)

Add nothing is correct, and the laughable thing is is that they think their aggressiveness has an effect. It's so pointless, keyboard courage I think is the term. Like I stated before, when I first jumped in here there was more discussion and far less immaturity. But at times I feel sympathy for them, that kind of anger must carry over from somewhere in their lives. Maybe they were bullied growing up and this is a way to get even, maybe it's a matter of being unhappy in their personal lives so they want to spread their misery. Maybe they've been rejected over and over and they lash out here. Who knows. But once you look at it from another point of view, you can see the sadness in it. I hope they can work through their troubles.

Just to be clear: What is your diagnostic criteria for claiming a poster i" high"?? paranoid?? or an "addict". How do you differentiate that from possible other neurological issues that a poster might have??

thanks.

One more thing to note - a diabetic can also exhibit the same signs as someone who is intoxicated and only a medical expert can tell for sure!

Let's get this clear.
IM NOT YOUR DAD!
If I see someone here high as a f-cking kite and posting paranoid
delusional gibberish
for 72+ hours straight, I'm going to say something and it's not going to be nice.
Nice doesnt work on addicts.
Have a great weekend.

People have family far away. It would take 3.5 days to drive to Saskatoon from Toronto, more if you couldn't take the shortcut through the states. You would actually expose yourself more to viruses by driving than flying.

And some of us still want to go to a nice warm place in the winter.

That explains why you had sort of cart service. Your flight was longer than 2.5hrs.
