He obviously doesn't have any ethics.ethical priorities?? ;-)
First presidential debate about to start and the media is calling it "highly anticipated".
I doubt that.
I have zero interest in it. I'm sure there will be some special Trump moments but after 4 years of President Game Show Host there is literally nothing he could say or do to surprise or amuse me.
And Biden is Biden. There is nothing he could say that we haven't heard before.
I think it is highly anticipated, but for the wrong reasons. I think a lot of viewers are tuning in in anticipation of a fight rather than a debate. Added to that, I think Trump is going to pounce with a lot of misinformation and distractions that Biden will have difficulty keeping up with.
Yes..Trump was as predictable..........only on testosterone. His conduct was shameful..... .......except to the white supremacists. (who were told to be on stand by_)I thought Joe Biden did well in the debate tonight, at least better than I thought he would. Trump did what I predicted he would do, so no surprise there. But Biden held his own. It was smart of him to speak directly to the American people through the camera, that was well thought out. Whether his idea or someone else's, I think it was effective.

Biden held his own........... against a rule breaker bully personified to the nth degree. Trumps tactics are tiresome and counterproductive. Seems they failed him tonight......... as at the very least He was totally unpresidential. But he got what he wanted as he could not handle a proper and true debate. ...and he knows it. So it was just more of his vile stuff..accusations ......lies, accusations. and distractions............ ie Baffle them with BS ( when you can't beat them with brains)
The sad fact is the economy and employment have done well under Trump, and that just might be enough to pull him through on Nov. 3. The only way to thwart that is to lay charges against him for tax evasion and abusing women! Looks like there IS enough proof!
Yes, it may well be enough. But I also believe his mishandling of the virus also has an impact on how people will rate his overall job performance. Like Biden stated this evening, how many of them are looking at an empty seat at the table because they lost someone to the virus? That could very well leave a lasting impression on family, friends and communities on a whole who were hit the hardest. As far as the economy goes, you once stated that voters have a short memory, well that being said, it's been months since he had "the greatest economy in the history of the world" and so that may play a part too. They're living in the now, not in the remember when. The lagging economy is still there, Covid is still there, people are still losing their jobs, they're still dying, they're still falling ill, businesses are still closing, and now, many are facing eviction. I think the now matters more. Will it be enough? I hope so.
Let's say 300,000 have died from Covid by the time of the election and the pop. of the U.S. is 330 million which means I person out of 1100 have died. 1100 would equate to about 300 families, so out of every 300 families one family is missing a person. Nowhere near enough to affect the election results.
Granted, but 330 million aren't registered to vote. In 2016 approx. 157 million were registered to vote with tallies reflecting that close to 138.6 million voted. The question then could become how many of voting age who are registered to vote have lost a family member or friend to Covid. And that loss could be felt beyond a family to include friends etc who may vote with that in mind. I know the numbers could easily be small but they could also be big enough to make a difference in some states, in swing states. And demographic shifts among groups like the elderly, who are most effected by Covid, could be enough to swing crucial states over to Biden.
Yep, your intelligence knows no bounds, MB.![]()
JLM was either complimenting you quite seriously, or poking gentle fun at you. Most likely a bit of both.I'm not sure of your meaning behind this statement and so am not sure how to respond other than to say, sure it does.

If he had a problem with you, there wouldn't be any doubt.
