His spin about this revelation is that " he did not want to create panic." The bloke is a master at manipulation & spin. . a certified BS artist. The fact he minimized the pandemic gave the population a false sense of confidence. His go to line of self praise is still closing the country to China ........and ignores the FACT he called it a hoax.repeating THAT mantra for public consumption. He ignores the fact that he squandered so much time as people were dying and he certainly did not set an example that the leader should do. Holding rallys with no masks and social distancing.......is not responsible behavior of a leader. (but he is a "leader" in name only)

Audio tapes have just surfaced, detailing that Trump knew at the end of January that COVID would be the gravest threat to his Presidency, was highly contagious, and much more deadly than the flu.
He is recorded admitting to this, and explains on March 19 that the reason he did not disclose this to the American public at the time, was that he did not want people to panic, and chose to do very little to prepare for the pandemic.

Good thing COVID19 hasn't been around since August of last year.

Xi Pingpong never lies.

Hey Walter, question for you. Would you say that Fauci is always right?
I think that Fauci is scared of Trump......... and is not prepared to counter him because he knows how petulant and verbally destructive Trump can be.

But I am still surprised he made that statement. It makes no sense. Personally, I have lost a lot of respect for him. Something stinks. Why would he toss his integrity & reputation down the drain??

That's bull shit, what good do the taxes do the poor guy who is struggling to catch his breath? There's a lot of shit money can't fix.
Explain that to Horgan and turdOWE. Those two clowns think carbon taxes are good for you. Plus a whole battery of other taxes.

I think Doc Fauci is "managing" Mousseolini. He's well aware that, even if things go well, 20 Jan 2021 is over four months off. An eternity in a pandemic.

I believe Fauci wants to do the important work at hand, stroking the over inflated ego of Trump is a price he has to pay to stay in the game.

Possible........but why say anything at all??
Because supporting and defending Mousseolini has gotten utter incompetents Cabinet positions. A little flattery goes a disgracefully long way with the overgrown brat.

Doc Fauci's been playing this game a long time. His half-century record shows that his only true dedication is to science and the public health. He'll do whatever it takes.

but by doing so.....he is being deceptive about something that is life threatening. It is so unprofessional. at the least.
