Does Edmonton general Hospital still exist?? Lived in Edmonton for a few years.....familiar with it.Also familiar with UofA.
I was. I corrected the timeline and annotated such with a fitting quote to verify that like any big project it's piecemeal, year by year, contract by tendered contract with heavy layering through 3-4 govts, right down to lefty Union labour pools and even burger joints.
As far as I know Trump is a gadjo without a crystal ball or tarot cards just like you or I. Maybe he if he's into charcuterie he can set you up with a good salami or if not, cool henna tattoos.
Do you think Trudeau has his finger on the pulse of twining hiway 1 through Roger Pass? Do you think he could name 1 of the dozens of contractors currently working? If Trudeau asked a GC about a bridge built 2 years ago would it automatically give him magical insight into who is currently doing what probably tendered out 8 years ago?

I ask the following in the interest of genuinely wanting to know your response. What does calling face masks, face diapers, do for you? Are you trying to belittle people? Are you suggesting people who wear face masks are somehow weak? Does it make you feel that you are more intelligent than others? Or is it that you believe by calling them face diapers that doing so will shame people into not wearing them, because that's what you prefer?
Have you thought that perhaps in your outings that you may have come across someone who had Covid, was asymptomatic, but wearing a mask, and it was that very mask that kept you from contracting the virus? You do know that's a possibility right? Perhaps a small possibility in your community, but a possibility nonetheless.
So why? What to you get out of referring to them as face diapers?

However in the case of Trump he wasn't playing in the dirt with the contractors, no, what I pointed out was that he was hobnobbing in the Hamptons with the CFO of the We Build the Wall group and some of their associates, then denied knowing them. His son Eric was photographed with the husband (one of the men arrested) of the groups CFO during at Trump's own home, Mar-A-Logo, where he was garnering support for his groups project, and Trump denied knowledge of the project. Trump's son Don Jr. spoke at a fundraiser (with the arrested husband of the CFO) praising the group and their efforts, and has himself been photographed with the (again, arrested) husband of the CFO of the group while visiting the wall, and has left testimonials on the groups website, along with his girlfriend, praising their efforts, and Trump denied knowledge of the project.
So that's the distinction for me. Trump and certainly his sons were aware of the group and the people in charge of it. They noshed with them in the Hamptons while discussing the project, rubbed elbows with them at Mar-A-Logo and attended their fundraisers. Oh and one of the other guys that was arrested, Steve something or other, was a past member of Trump's administration. And Trump denied knowing all of them save one, and claimed he knew nothing about the project.
I think even our drama teacher leader would have a hard time wiggling out of that one.
Wonder if it occurs to him that using such derogatory language , he is not doing himself any favors. He does not seem to mind embarrassing himself .with his big attitude problem.
It is also part of being a bully......so much like his malevolent hero.
Because they are silly , plain and simple . I see people driving alone in their car wearing masks , out alone on a sunny day no where near any personal contact wearing masks , I also see approximately 85 % of people not wearing masks . I am one of those 85% .
Being a bully comes easy to Trump, he's been doing it all his life, just as easy as it is for some from behind a keyboard. When people "speak" to me in that manner on social media I picture them in my minds eye holed up in their mom's basement with that 70's wood paneling on the wall littered with MAGA posters, surrounded by crinkled McDonald's wrappers, grease stained pizza boxes and empty chocolate milk containers. Rarely do I envision them in an above ground home office or den with a framed degree or two on a tastefully decorated wall.
Just have conversation, yeah be witty, yeah get in a jab or two here and there, nothing wrong with that. But the bravado? Please...
Well okay, you see them as silly but that doesn't really answer my question. My question is how does it make you feel to call them face diapers, what does it do for you? Why do you go there?
Are they silly? I can agree that yes, when people wear them in a car with the window rolled up I have chuckled at that myself. That's silly, I'll give you that. But why is it silly for people to use them in appropriate settings? And can you admit that it's at least possible that someone wearing a face mask may have kept you safe.
Face diaper? I know you're better than that. And I mean that.
I'll let you in on a little secret, the highway won't be twinned through Rogers Pass before the year 2050. There's just no money for it.
