Further, the "what about Obama" card is becoming tiresome, and in this case, is flawed. If you believe Obama made a bad call in ceasing testing for H1N1 does that not imply that Trump discouraging testing concerning Covid-19 is just as egregious? In essence, you are pointing the same finger at Trump as you are at Obama.
Whataboutery is the best he's got.

But you are apparently misunderstanding the rule, saying that when Obama and Trump do the same thing, they should be judged by the same standard.

See, the difference is that to Moosie and cohort, Trump is perfect.

Shouldn't there be one standard all presidents adhere to, given the situation and circumstances are the same?

It could be argued that your statement is not entirely true seeing that H1N1 was not considered much worse than the seasonal flu and testing didn't play a big role in controlling the virus. COVID-19 on the other hand is far more deadly, and testing is important for contact tracing and isolation.

Further, the "what about Obama" card is becoming tiresome, and in this case, is flawed. There seems to be many variables with Covid 19, the severity of the disease ranging from undetectable to deadly. Perhaps the worst element of the disease it's contagiousness, coupled with stupid people who don't care or pay attention. Given what we KNOW, I think people who ignore the rules and advice, should pay a heavy penalty as they are potentially killing people! Wear the mask and maintain your distance! Only the dough heads question that!

I admit it is tough. Find one that turdOWE hasn't bought, like True North. Not too sure about the US ones because most of them are more interested in headlines than reporting news. Even Fox news has a better chance of being accurate than the Democratic Party owned ones. Maybe Walmart will give you some names and you can compare articles with your Facebook sources.

Why the avoidance in providing a name of what you believe to be a credible news source? I'll tell you what, lets do it this way. Reuters, Forbes, NPR and The Hill just to name a few are considered to be more centered in their reporting than other media outlets. They all reported the same story that Ocean Breeze linked, would they then be credible to you? And funny that you should mention Fox News and that (according to you) they have a better chance in their reporting being accurate. See, Fox News reported the story as well. So, credible now?

Not sure where you are going with your reference to Walmart and Facebook sources, what are my Facebook sources? Please provide names.

Correct, there are many more variables surrounding Covid-19 than that of other viruses. And if one compares the numbers between Covid-19 and H1N1 there simply is no comparison and so it makes sense that responses would differ.

The sad reality is that the people who dismiss the rules have no concern as to spread, and it's unfortunate because as you stated they are putting the lives of others at risk. How is the simple step of wearing a face mask different from securing a load on the back of a truck, adhering to a fire ban during a dry spell, not driving drunk etc. They are all measures meant to keep others safe as well as ourselves. Why the stink about wearing a mask? I just don't understand.

Right?

I just don't understand the inability for any Trump supporter to admit that he has flaws and has made poor choices. There is no give at all, it's strange.

It is really quite simple. You cannot pass on a virus you do not have.

What if you don't know you have it? It has been stated than an individual can by asymptomatic and unknowingly spread the virus.

He has stated that it's not real. It's a plot by the evil globalists and Gates to further their neffarious agenda.

In other words, taxslave is a moron.

Oh yes, I'm quite aware that he regularly dons a tin foil hat. He and I have had a discussion concerning Bill Gates and his nefarious agenda, which still isn't entirely clear. That said, your closing comment may have merit.

It is like an extreme form of brainwashing ......... and hard wiring the brain .what is concerning is that they would do anything he asked of them.......ANYTHING.

He minimizes the pandemic. They do the same. He refuses to wear a mask , and they follow suit. He blames everyone but himself for the mess he has crated. They do the same.

I think that the world is a cold place for the righties.

They can't speak their mind in public because people would shun them, so they have to come here to let their true feelings out.

For us the world is generally an agreeable place.

For them not so much.

This is all they have.

I think it's a cold world out there for some on the right as well, and this video is but one example. I particularly enjoyed the ending of the video at about 7:17 in when he came through Calgary. He has a good sense of humor and was having fun.

And he fails to see that his leadership is failing even his base. By not advocating for safe guidelines he's endangering their lives, and the lives of their families because some of them follow his lead. I'm reminded of a story I recently saw where a young man went to a party and went on to infect his father who ended up in ICU on a ventilator. I don't know if he survived or not.

Then there's this:

People in Alabama are throwing COVID-19 parties with a payout when one gets infected.
