Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

We all know that even if Blackie got Covid, he'd deny he did.

He'd also likely say by some miracle it didn't affect him at all.

What the sad part is, is those he'll infect outside of himself while being the azzhole he is until it finally hits him and he isolates - or goes to hospital.

And likely even then he won't believe it, nor will he care about those he drags into the hell of it with him.

I just don't understand how someone can have so little empathy for anything at all, even themselves.

The burning question with Blacky is why is he even on this site! I think we know the answer to that! He's likely been banned off of every site in his own country. High time the administration banned him here too. He adds absolutely nothing to any discussion here, except to piss everyone off here, with the exception of Walter!

It is not really that hard. Just don't be fixated on dying. It is going to happen eventually anyway. In recent decades humans have put far too much importance on our own self worth when in reality we are no more important than any other life form on earth.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

That equates to 146 thousand cases in one year. Does any jurisdiction have the funding for that?
How many require hospitalization is the question . If only a small percentage do the funding shouldn’t be an issue . The main concern is keeping the virus away from the truly vulnerable the elderly and others with underlying conditions.

I was expecting 20/20 Vision to be the tiring catch phrase of the year.

Your whole province is just slowly coming out of lockdown, you had zero deaths and few cases , you don’t even ask if it was all necessary ? Do you have confidence that Trudeau and Tam had or have the correct answers and policies to deal with the virus ? Mask , no mask .

The main concern is flooding ICU’s with patients so much so that they have to choose who gets a ventilator like they had to do in Italy.

It would certainly be a disaster for the Bolton sex-worker community.

The provinces are the ones imposing most of the restrictions.

Trudeau just pops out once in awhile to check his shadow and fire a few t-shirts into the crowd.

But that didn’t happen and they have found the ventilators to be ineffective. Even in New York the temporary hospitals and the ship were not necessary despite their huge number of cases .

COVID-19 disinformation being spread by Russia, China, say experts

Russia and China are driving an online wave of disinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic, say experts.
Some of the disinformation circulating online amounts to conspiracy theories about the origins of the virus — claims that it was invented in a lab or brought to China by U.S. soldiers, for example.
Some of it involves false reports that experts say could end up harming people — the claim that handwashing doesn't help to prevent the spread of COVID-19, for example, or that the virus doesn't affect smokers.

Canadian Philip Howard heads the Oxford Internet Institute, a U.K.-based academic body studying the sociology of the internet. He said the pandemic has seen an increase in misinformation and disinformation related to COVID-19 being spread by sources related to foreign governments...……...More

Half of Canadians say governments are hiding something about COVID-19: poll

OTTAWA — Half of Canadians believe they're not getting the whole truth from their governments about COVID-19, a new poll suggests, and some also believe conspiracy theories about where the novel coronavirus began.
The most recent survey from Leger and the Association for Canadian Studies found 50 per cent of respondents felt governments were deliberately withholding information about the pandemic of the novel coronavirus, which has killed thousands and ground the economy to a halt.
"It's staggering, in a period where I believe trust has never been as high," said Leger vice-president Christian Bourque.........More

Mental Health was hit the hardest at first. Home care and 811 have been going full bore since before shutdown.
