At which time Trump will deny ever having met him.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

It is somewhat of a dramatic statement, in its truth. If you look at it closely it's significant in that while the US is yes, the third most populated country in the world at about 330+ million people, China and India have respective populations of over 1.3 billion. So it says a lot that a country with roughly one quarter of the population of another has more deaths from the same virus. Those numbers could lead some to believe it's a result of a slow response and poor management. So I think OB's statement is deservedly alarming.

Yes it is, but entirely different cultures, I'm not sure of the statistics but I have an idea that is you compare the amount and ease of travel of the respective citizens the U.S. wins that comparison hands down. Is the area in China where the virus got started perhaps isolated to some degree from the rest of the country?

Doesn’t help when you have morons walking around thinking this is just a spot of a cold.

From what I am reading online, Wikipedia for a quick look at the demographics, Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei Province, is the largest city of Hubei with a population of about 11 million people.

From Wiki:

"It is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and expressways passing through the city and connecting to other major cities.[25] Because of its key role in domestic transportation, Wuhan is sometimes referred to as "the Chicago of China" by foreign sources."

So no, it's not isolated by any means and seems largely connected to other major cities. But I can appreciate how different cultures could play a role in the rate of spread. That's a good point. I haven't sought out the numbers related to the spread in Wuhan mostly because it's unknown if any information coming out of China is accurate or not. Can it be trusted?

Uh-oh, this may not end well for Fauci, or will it? Maybe it would be a relief for him, who knows. But would Trump be so bold as to actually fire him?

https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-retweets-threat-fire-fauci-2020-4

"Fauci said fewer people would have died if the Trump administration had announced isolation measures in February instead of late March after fielding warnings from public health officials."

This chart makes no sense.
Why are the US and the UK rated so high, yet both have big problems with the virus, while Australia, South Korea, and to a lesser extent, Canada are rated lower, yet have virtually eradicated the virus with very few deaths?

How accurate are the figures for deaths coming out of each country?

Not very.

Canada is ranked lower than Australia.
