If you're in a car travelling from one place to another, how are you spreading the virus? You're indoors.
And I'm assuming his cabin is somewhere in the Canadian wilderness, so not much chance anyone else is going to catch it.

If it is a straight shot travelling A-B I agree, don't forget you have to fuel up, grab groceries and supplies, then restock in the closest community if you are there for awhile. When you take that into consideration you are not isolated and having groceries delivered to your doorstep to limit contact with anyone else, especially if the community has no reported cases, and as we know Sophie has had the virus, what about the family and entourage?

Or else what Cliffy? Catch the virus spread it to your immediate family, elderly parents, die? Limit your chance to get back to work to provide for the same family?

It is what it is, respect the rules so the rest of us can get back to work in short order, don't respect the rules and phuck everyone over that provide to your welfare.

I see we have killed the B.C. economy because of 60 deaths . Probably that many get killed in 2 months of auto accidents . I understand heart attacks azure down as well . We probably have a net positive .
All colds, flus, VDs, and accidents are all being heavily stymied.

Next time?
When was the first?
Anthrax April 2 1979

On 2 April 1979, spores of anthrax were accidentally released from a Soviet military research facility near the city of Sverdlovsk, Russia (now Yekaterinburg). The ensuing outbreak of the disease resulted in approximately 100 deaths, although the exact number of victims remains unknown. The cause of the outbreak was denied for years by the Soviet authorities, which blamed the deaths on consumption of tainted meat from the area, and subcutaneous exposure due to butchers handling the tainted meat. All medical records of the victims were removed to hide serious violations of the Biological Weapons Convention that had come in effect in 1975. The accident is sometimes referred to as "biological Chernobyl".

Do you trust Xi Pingpong?

I need an emergency haircut. Stylists should be amongst the first to go through the wringer. Round up the survivors and open up CovidCuts.

Lots of immediate family members are trying their hand at cutting hair right now, screw up, no problem wear a hat for a month.

Disaster season opens with a bang in the south.

Mississippi and Louisiana struck by tornado.

How do you handle dozens or hundreds or thousands of people fleeing disaster?

We are thinking about these things now in BC because fire season means rescues and evacuations and finding places for displaced people to live.

Keeping all parks and camp grounds closed during June/July/August would be helpful

It's bad enough there are elk running around with TB, we dont need to spread it through our irreplaceable wildlife.

In BC maybe but on the Prairie we have shit to do that require people leaving the cities to work in the country. Shitloads of us rely on parks to park our RVs to live out of for the summer but as noted I can do without, can rely on propane and park in the sticks. Not many are as equipped as I am.
