Oh and by the way, Trudeau is a horrible, horrible Prime Minister. But alas, there he is, still. Doesn't that just stick in your craw? It does mine, what are we to do?
Keep calm and wash your hands.

Have you ever seen Trudeau work harder?

If he didnt have to go out of the house to get the flyers we'd never see him.

Washing my hands raw.

I don't think I've ever seen him work, period.

That last one, a genuine out loud laugh at that one! "Get the flyers" lol, that was good.

No doubt, it's not easy to change a lifestyle.

It certainly isn't. He (my brother) faced rough challenges every day but his recovery was a blessing that we got to celebrate with him before he passed on. For that I am thankful that AA was there.

I could see a big spike in the number of people that resort to booze to get through this crisis. That says nothing of the people who have in recovery, and cannot attend meetings or meet with social supports, and will end up going on a big bender...

I didn't think of the meetings that would have to be cancelled. Hopefully sponsors are just a phone call/video chat away.

Just couldn't put the bottle down could he? Bill W has a good insurance policy for that.
Bad choices suck, just ask Susanne.

Did I miss something? Does it say in the article that he was an alcoholic? Please do correct me if I missed that part.

I'm core urban. I see the impacts of addiction every damn time I look out the window or hangout in the yard. There isnt anything I havent seen. Ah well, it's the price you gotta pay for a big old character house nestled amongst the canopy of 110 year old elms and maples.

It'll be a completely different neighbourhood in 6 months.
