Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

Trudeau's new $82 billion bailout has $55 for exec's and $27 for direct payments to Canadians.

And let's be clear - almost all of the $27 for Canadians will go directly to a bank or some other bill.

Business will get it all one way or the other, but the stuff that comes in from the government is the stuff the 1% can really feast on.

Don't whine!

Where did you get your numbers for this "stuff"?

Why is that? Dems. trying to ram through other provisions outside Corona concerns?

It's in the Senate. Ask Mitch why he wants to give Steve Mnuchin a 500 billion dollar blank check that wont have receipts.

How many are Canadians of convenience like Canada repatriated from the middle east some years ago!

Seems to me that those still stuck have only their own stupidity to blame. 2 weeks ago the government suggested it was time to think about coming home.

While the fines SOUND like a good idea, what are the chances of most of them ever being collected? Are the courts not already over jammed?

Instead of fines, a friend of mine suggested hitting anyone who still refuses to self-isolate to be given 100 hours of community service once the pandemic is over. Have them go in and help clean seniors residences, pick up litter off the street or any number of other services that help the community.

Another new low for you, Cliffy.
It was a reference to the fact that only rich people are finding it easy to get tested.

It was actually a criticism of the U.S.'s response and health-care systsm, not wishing ill on anyone in particular (though of course Cliffy ain't exactly a fan of rich folk).

It sounds like Moe could use a clout upside the head! People have to eat. Is this guy premier material?

You just don't get it yet, do you JLM. Premier Moe isn't telling people they can't shop for food or other necessities. He's telling the #COVIDIOTS who continue to congregate in large numbers to go home and stay the **** there.

I understand that has since changed but what I read earlier said exactly that. Oh, I "get it", Mowich, I am not exactly stupid!
