He has no respect for the rules in any situation......but particularly when it applies to him. He considers himself the
exception to every rule.
Pelosi: Trump is 'impeached for life'

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said in a recent interview that President Trump has been “impeached for life” regardless of how Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) handles the upcoming Senate trial.

“This president is impeached for life regardless of any gamesmanship on the part of Mitch McConnell,” she said during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday, adding, “There is nothing the Senate can do to ever erase that.”

Her comment prompted “#ImpeachedForLife” to trend on Twitter shortly afterward.

She is right , of course......and that is what bothers him most. His image and pride have been affected. Maybe he should not have run for a job that the is not suited for.

He's one of the best suited candidates to be elected in the past 50 years from what I've seen!

But you know?

I'm starting to think that you're a bit overboard with praise for every foolish thing he does.

You're loosing al credibility even with conservatives like me!

Oh, I'm the first to admit he can be a little impetuous at times and contrary to what Walter thinks, he's not the Pope, but I think he deserves credit for not being timid about "getting his feet wet" or "his hands dirty". It also has to be remembered that some of his "decisions" are advice from his advisors.

Oh his hands are dirty alright, I'll give you that. Oh and I god a hearty chuckle out of him taking advice from advisers, that's funny! No Trump doesn't take advice, you either go his way or just....go like many of his advisers have.

exactly. He is too impulsive and plunges into decisions that might provide HIM with short term gain......... If he can't control his staff to the point of fanatical loyalty to him......he gets rid of them His "advisors" are just yes men.....nothing more.He is a dictator.and wants to have the same control and power as Putin does.

You got it. And from the books I have read he does exactly that, gets rid of anyone who opposes or goes against him. Donald Trump has never heeded the advice of anyone in his life, be it personal or political.

seeing as how they can't do that anyway

Why not?

On Monday, senior Republicans said immediate dismissal could not win approval in the chamber, where Republicans hold a 53-seat majority. And even some staunch Trump allies argued that the president’s legacy would benefit from a robust trial.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has said that he wants the trial — only the third impeachment of a president in U.S. history — to follow the format used 21 years ago in the trial of President Bill Clinton. In that case, the Senate approved a resolution that would have allowed the Senate to vote to dismiss the charges.
