The point being that Trump did something wrong in even trying to blackmail Zelensky.
To Trumpkins, Trump can do no wrong. Trying to reason with them is just plain aggravating. Best to leave then stew in their own juices.
It's a funny type of blackmail when Zelensky wasn't aware of the blackmail scheme isn't it? And Zelensky has stated as much on the record many times. What type of blackmail has no blackmail victim? Or are you saying that the 2nd and 3rd hand whistle leaker thwarted a blackmail scheme?
Zelensky was under pressure. He had people dying and Trump can hold up aid again, so of course he'll say whatever Trump wants him to say.
It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
Held up aid again? When was the first time? He is the one that authorized lethal weapon sales to Ukraine, didn't that save Ukrainian lives especially now that both sides are pulling back from the conflict zone?
PCness has been described as the elevation of posturing of sensitivity over truth and it triggers intellectually and/or emotionally challenged people to feel or act insulted on behalf of other people. What is really funny to me about that is that it is particularly applicable to Trumplicans.

You're missing the whole point, Cliffy. Many of us Canadians couldn't care less whether Trump's involvement with foreign countries is "right" or "wrong". His mandate is to do what's best for the U.S. and he being President is a hell of a lot better than the likes of Pelosi or any of her ilk! Actually many of us don't give a fiddler's f**k if we don't hear anything of Trump from one week to the next. We have our own disgrace to contend with in Ottawa.
