It seems all the "no minds" still have this impeachment shit on the brain. There has to be more to life than this shit we've been hearing about for years. F**k!

Impeachment of the US President, while not important to you, is important regardless.

First, it's a historically rare event and out of interest, whether you're for or against, it's worth keeping an eye on.

Second, the process itself signifies a crisis within the US whether they admit it or not.

Third, hearing about the impeachment is no different than hearing about the "one term" of Obama.

Fourth, not all democrats were for impeachment. Despite Republican talking points, Pelosi did NOT want this and was staunchly against it until she had no choice. I'm not surprised though that Republicans and their allies don't look at that as a positive.

Impeachment is one of those things that is actually made out to mean much more than what it is. It basically means "challenged" and about 3 times out of four doesn't go anywhere. I would think a smart person doing the impeaching would first of all wait for a conviction in a court of law before going ahead with it. Is investigating a person in itself a crime? I'm not sure he broke any laws, at least ones where conviction would carry a prison sentence. I think he's going to walk much to the chagrin of Cliffy and O.B. and C.C.

Well stated. Impeachment f a US prez is a big thing..........so it s puzzling why anyone would react the way some do and with such heavy handed hostility. about it. But if one is defending the indefensible...............one might be angry & emotional about it.

Heck....Trump should be impeached ........and thrown out of office for portraying a sex act on live TV. as he continues to trash the FBI (ex) staffer .......whose PERSONAL texts were revealed. The Trump Republicans are a nasty nasty bunch. Trump made such a fool of himself.........it is embarrassing to even think of his stupid behavior. The Grand Old Party is gone.. There are no adjectives for what is in power now...except that it is as insane as the one at the helm.

The bolded part shows you have no understanding of what the impeachment process is, what it means or how it's actually a rightful thing listed in the Constitution, so that explains why you throw hissy fits over it all the time.

That said, of course he'll walk, but not because he didn't do anything wrong.

Yes.....he will probably walk........because the Trump SWAMP will see to it. Their tactics about the whole thing are underappreciated. and highly obstructive.

Yet Nancy Pelosi is Speaker of the House and as such sets the agenda . That agenda could very well be passage of the Mexico Canada Trade deal . But no let’s give the Thrown back to our worst enemy , good politicking Nancy .

I throw hissy fits!!! That's likely the biggest joke in this entire thread. :) Who's obsessed with him day after day ad infinitum?

You really don't pay attention to anything, do you?

Pelosi avoided impeachment since the Dems won the election until she had no choice. When asked point blank after they won in 2018, she said no to impeachment and said that continually.

As for NAFTA 2.0, where is it not being passed or discussed? Have proof it's not?

Well the almost daily "blah blah blah stop the impeachment discussion" certainly gives indication that you're throwing a hissy fit over people talking about it.

You're just as obsessed with ignoring Trump's failings as President as others are of discussing the impeachment.

The only way Trump won't walk is if the public, when he's at the Senate for Trial (since it's likely impeachment will happen with the House) hears things and really push hard for their Senate members to vote him guilty. Otherwise the Senate will let him walk because to them, he hasn't done anything wrong according to what Trump tells them to think.

It is in Nancy Pelosi’s hands . It has been for quite some time . All I see and hear from Congress is impeach , impeach impeach .
