Would LOVE to know what that insurance is..

It does sound a bit like a "threat"..

How Trump got so many under his psychological hold is astonishing, puzzling, and rather disastrous. Why would folks give up their right to think for themselves. ?? Might be the same psychology that is involved when folks buy into certain religious beliefs.
I don't know but like Sondland said, they didn't think they were doing anything wrong. I don't think it would take too much thought to think using presidential power to force or coerce diplomats to veer from acting for the country to acting for the personal, political desires of the president. But I guess they all expect Trump to do all the thinking for them. It's funny but also alarming.

Is it possible Trump is correct about Ukraine and the Biden boys? Maybe that should be ruled out before condemning him and Giuliani! :)
Get a grip. Whether the Bidens did anything wrong or not is immaterial to Trump's behaviour. Can't blame the Bidens for whatever Trump does, they did not twist his arm. No-one twisted Trump's arm.

Well.....the one that does have a lot of influence on Trump and decisions is Putin........
He sides up with Putin over his own intelligent agencies.

BTW: good point about his followers wanting Trump to do the thinking for them. which renders them ineffective.

I think it might be a little premature to surmise that Trump did something seriously wrong. Perhaps it's a matter of people eavesdropping who should have been minding their own business. There's a lot of shit happening in politics it's just part of the scenario! Do you really think that if and when Trump was bad mouthing someone, someone wasn't bad mouthing him? It's just all part of the 'game'! :)

The way I see it, now that Sondland said there was "quid pro quo", one or all the other 3 immediates to Trump, Bolton, Giuliani, or Mulvaney, tie Trump to the rails or he ties one or all of them to the rails. Not much choice. I bet it's the former. But I still don't think this will end in impeachment because Trump has too many loyalists in the Senate willing to ditch the country to favour Trump.
Exactly. It is very interesting to watch how a leader change the whole notion of governing for the nation........into governing for themselves..........or himself. ie the leader and enhancing HIS power. Authoritarianism is but a word away. It is evident that Trumpians no longer are content with democracy..........but would prefer a from of authoritarianism. That way they don't have t think for themselves......

Trump is continuously trashing the press......unless it says what he wants them to say.............so the freedom of the Press is actively berg threatened. The Press is what holds the governing body accountable...........and when it is weakened........it brings authoritarianism closer.

lol I don't think Putin needs to twist Trump's arm to get him to do stuff Putin wants. I think Putin can read Trump like a book and just point in the direction he wants and Trump just naturally faces that direction and goes for it.

Did Putin want Ukraine to have Javelin tank-killers?

sounds spot on. Perhaps Trump was born in the wrong country...given his adoring attitude to Putin and other dictators.

The fact that he is so susceptible to Putin........makes him unfit for the job....

White House review turns up emails showing extensive effort to justify Trump’s decision to block military aid to Ukraine

A confidential White House review of President Trump’s decision to place a hold on military aid to Ukraine found hundreds of documents that reveal extensive attempts to generate an after-the-fact justification for the decision and a debate over whether the delay was legal, according to three people familiar with the records.

The research by the White House Counsel’s Office, which was triggered by a congressional impeachment inquiry announced in September, includes email exchanges from early August between acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney and White House budget officials.

justifying AFTER the fact..........

While ignoring the fact that withholding aid is illegal.

So when Biden stands in front of a room giving a speech about his time as Vice President of The United States of America and brags about withholding aid to Ukraine unless the prosecutor examining corruption in the company his son Hunter just happens to be a director of , is nothing . Trump asking if this was above board is the crime of the century .

Of course we all know it is only a crime when republicans do it .

How many press outlets has Trump shut down ? How often does Trump give press conferences? Does he provide answers when questioned by the press ? Or dos he waffle like most politicians?

So why is the impeachment about Trump’s relationship with Ukraine ? Is Putin in charge in Ukraine ?

That is certainly YOUR bias..... Did you really join Trump thinking about the press is to be trashed because itis false news........and Fox news is the truth ???

No wonder trumpians are perceived as being dumb followers...... Where ACTS and EVIDENCE are fake.......while conspiracy theories are acceptable

FACT: Trump has a war on the TRUTH........ and the press for that matter.THAT can be interpreted as a war on democracy. His obvious compliance to Putin kinda confirms that too........while trashing the US allies.

"All the President's lies is on tonight.....on CNN........ might be an idea to watch it)
