lol I refuse that huh? The quality of life will last as long as we have resources to sustain it.
Which we do in abundance, and we are finding better ways for most tasks . A hundred and fifty years ago the world hadn’t heard of the automobile , the telephone and so much more . As they couldn’t comprehend the modern live we live , we cannot see where the world and it’s population will be in a hundred years but with the technological advances you can bet it will be far different from today .

Extinction occurs at a natural “background” rate of about one to five species per year. We are losing species at a rate of nearly 1200 to 5000 species per year and 90+% are a result of humans and our activities. Species loss also snowballs.

That sounds like one of those liars figure and figures lie sort of things . How many species live on earth ? How many went extinct today ? Which ones , names please ?
