Actually, at least for Canada, the first 100 or so years of actual records since about 1850 have been scrubbed 'cuz they don't fit the AGW predictive models going forward, so they're using the Models going forward to replace that first hundred years of actual records with modeled records to fit the narrative. I know this sounds surreal but google it. With this fiction, the claims of hottest years (when the actual hottest years are discounted) become the new (but fictional) reality.
The are records from many ports that are as accurate as the day they were recorded. What is lacking is the desire to feed all that data into a spreadsheet that is readable.
As an example of how bright we aren't. The search for Atlantis says they are on the 'other side of the Strait of Gibraltar'. If you were on a boat in the Atlantic and the straights were in front of you would Atlantis be what we currently call the Med Sea (back in the day it was a fresh water Sea)
Youtube also has lots of data, what you have to do is ignore some of the summations made. That would apply to series such as 'How the Earth was Made', the visuals are top notch, what is needed is a summation put together by honest professionals rather than ones that will say anything for a dollar.
Adapy2030 covers the ice-ages in some detail and there are many vids to watch. I tend to not see sunspots as having as much effect in weather in any age, let alone being able to alter it so it becomes an extinction level event.
Think of it as a way for 'them' to pump more money into the economy rather than all those people with jobs that are doing useless things sitting at home. Hemp is a dead industry in North America. As the use of oil lessens that reduces the amount of raw material available for new plastics. If the same money that was pumped into going to the moon was pumped into the Canadian Prairies to diversify crops into growing hemp at an industrial level. Keeping things fair the processing and manufacturing end would be split with the other Provinces as the goods made would have a local market as well as an international one. If big oil isn't planning any cutbacks before 2025 then getting the funding would be impossible, after that they would be happy to arrange the $50B loan @ 6% interest to get that industry past the R&D stage so it can stand on it's own as an industry. Until the the CIA can run heroin without getting in as much trouble as a farmer growing 1/4 section of hemp.
When they are also 'your competition' things will grow at a snail's pace rather than there is no future in that as a crop let alone a money making industry.
