Upon checking U.S. history Jefferson ACTUALLY predated the airplane!
Yer not that thick, are you?
O’not again. Who among us does not need a teleprompter to remember that air travel didn’t exist in the 18th century?

Vernon, B.C.
Didn’t Leonardo DaVinci design a working glider before that time ?

I did hear something to that effect, also I've heard the early Incas had some capabilities in that discipline. THAT may not be verifiable.

Allah Akbar.

What, the time machines?
... or 1918 when the Royal Air Force was founded?

I think the time machines came from the future or we'd still have them today. The jets were probably late 20th century. The revolutionaries wisely concluded that interplanetary fighter ships would have been overkill.

They're pretty cool. They merged them with time machines and now they can fly both forwards and backwards.

First hydrogen balloon

Following Robert Boyle's Boyle's Law which had been published in 1662, and Henry Cavendish's 1766 work on hydrogen, Joseph Black proposed that if the gaseous element filled a balloon, the inflated object could rise up into the air.

Thomas Jefferson (April 13, 1743 – July 4, 1826)

The first tethered balloon flight with humans on board took place on October 19, 1783

This 1818 technical illustration shows early balloon designs.

Of course, we all know we can't argue with stupid here while he is pretending to be smart (even with a picture), so this is for all the other readers.

'Totally unsuitable - the sooner he is gone the better': Farage leads calls for Britain's man in Washington be SACKED after leaked memos reveal how he called Trump's White House 'inept' and 'uniquely dysfunctional'

Nigel Farage has called for Britain's ambassador to the US to be sacked after it was claimed he had described Donald Trump's White House as 'uniquely dysfunctional' and 'inept'. Leaked memos obtained by the Mail on Sunday detail Sir Kim Darroch's assessments of the Trump administration from 2017 to the present. The publication of the comments is likely to spark a fresh diplomatic row between London and Washington and risks causing the government and the Foreign Office major embarrassment. The emergence of the remarks come just weeks after the UK rolled out the red carpet for Mr Trump during his state visit at the start of June.
