Sorry?

Should we shut down kids hockey? That's rife with sex abusers.

The rules that Scouters have to follow are quite strict. None of us can ever be alone with kids in a room or any space, at all. There must always be two Scouters present. ...
Really!

A sad sign of the times probably due more to a very few devious kids these days than devious leaders. That shit happened even 60 years ago. A friend of my sister in law at the time knew she was going to be in deep shit when she got home for being late so she cooked up a story about being attacked. I believe it was pretty feeble and didn't go anywhere.

Yes, ours as well. My Scout leader was a French Canadian, ex-Captain in the Van Doos who had fought the length of Italy and Korea. I also had my Marksman's badge. None, and I mean none of those men would think squat of people who join militias so that they're ready to overthrow the government. They had just fought a huge war for the safety and integrity of the same country. They were volunteers, all and loyal, all.
WTF are you talking about?
;)
I was in the boy scouts, not the genocidal gun grabbing nazi/communist globalist Canada hating party.

Considering nobody will land a job except by chance it should be set back to hobby status. Use the SMART TV to see who is watching ladies gymnastics at the Olympic level if they jerk off at the same time.
Neighborhoods could set up their recreation as a full-motion VR Room that would play any game at fill immersion as well as travel the cities and roads of the world through google-earth. Malls as we know them are closing down as on-line shopping picks up. Personal transportation will be public systems except for people who can lease a car at $1,000/mo
Pro Sports is a business that takes people and turns them into puppets that is also a business that see the players at the bottom rather than at the top. All pro sports are the same. In a VR world the player can be from anywhere ans be at any income level as they are playing with natural talent from their garage. The time and money spent on them when they are kids goes into other classes such as science and business ed. Smarter people in those areas will allow hobbies to outperform any pro we can manufacturer today. How much time and money to win an Olympic gold in any 'sport'. Jumping 26ft is needed how many times in a person's life??

Was there fighting before agricultural settlements? Probably, all sorts of fighting.
The itinerant, nomadic Ojibwa fought (and won) a long war against the settled, agricultural Mohawk... during what is essentially a Neolithic transition period.

The rules that Scouters have to follow are quite strict. None of us can ever be alone with kids in a room or any space, at all. There must always be two Scouters present. ... Always, without exception. We can't drive kids around in our cars without another Scouter being in the car with us. (A random, unchecked parent can drive any of them anywhere, any time without monitoring) We obviously do not share sleeping accomodations with children, ever. These are not just guidelines, they are enforced laws and they are there to protect the Scouter from legal action as much as the Scout from criminals. We are also registerred with the police, vetted by them and we have to submit current police checks every three years.

Unfortunately, amateur athletics have not caught up to Scouting, yet. A good number of coaches need police background checks now but they won't have those "multiple adult present" rules in place.

By the way, there needs to be a threshold number of Scouters present or we have to cancel their meetings.

This is serious stuff. I take it seriously, that's for damned sure.

By the was, one of my children went through the Cadets movement, instead and they are similarly vetted and monitored. There was a time when the DND operated Cadets in a loosey-goosey manner but DND has been largely separated from Cadets so that Canada is compliant with the international conventions on child combatants.

Really!
Really .k

hey **** off with the pig comments. I happen to respect law enforcement.
"Pigs" is his avatar.

I happen to respect law enforcement a lot more than you seem to. Arming yourself against the Crown is seditious conspiracy and it was a capital crime until the 20th century, in this country.

Tru dat.
The Ojibwa DID kick Iroquois ass.
I didn't mention those Brown Bess that they bought at The Bay for a year or two's worth of beaver pelts, though.
WTF are you smoking today?
;)
The wrong kinda leaf it looks like.

I didn't know you could get disbelief to burn. Not like you burn all the real history textbooks to get your genocidal fakenews into the curriculum anyway.

It's also nice to see the ( Always well ARMED) SIX NATIONS Iroquois are STILL SOVEREIGN isn't it?
;)
Unlike what all the nazi/commie/globalist traitors that talk like you have planned for beer Canada.

We have the right to form all sorts of militias. We form labour unions when labour laws don't go far enough, private schools when public schools disappoint, professional associations to establish ethics when our employees won't, associations to fight cancer when the medical system is working too slow, co-ops to get affordable housing when housing developers are profit driven, neighborhood watches when the police aren't affecting peace, soup kitchens to fight homelessness when our social net has holes in it, volunteer fire departments when the government doesn't, scholarships to educate, after school sports leagues,

all sorts of organizations that form when the government that you so worship comes up short on their promises.

Oh BONDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our LIE-beral overlords are FIDDLING WITH UNION RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In exactly the same DISHONEST FASHION they are meddling with FAKE NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have already provided ample documentation revealing how LIE-berals encouraged CBC -

during the 2015 election.......................................

to DELIBERATELY SUPPRESS AND CENSOR anti LIE-beral comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have provided articles illustrating how LIE-berals are trying to RIG our elections!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now here is an older article illustrating how LIE-berals are SCREWING WITH UNION certification rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Collin Craig of the Winnipeg Sun does a nice job of summing up how little respect our prime minister has for the traditional rules of democracy. Not content with trying to limit opposition party debate by ramming through new legislation and ending up in the midst of the `elbowgate` scandal in which our brainless Boy leader swore like a trooper and roughed up elected leaders; Our Boy is still working on his election law changes that may forever alter how we elect govts-with heavy emphasis on elections rigged in favour of LIE-berals-without the bother of asking the public to speak or vote in a referendum on the subject.

Sadly Our Stupid Boy is now turning to fiddling with union certification laws. I have reprinted Craig`s column condemning Trudope and added some comments of my own in brackets). Craigs column is set out below:

Trudeau should keep secret ballot union votes

By Colin Craig, Winnipeg Sun. First posted: Monday, May 23, 2016 06:00 PM EDT

Instead of Canadians voting privately during elections, imagine if our politicians were elected based on who collected the most signatures from the public.

Think of all the tricks and intimidation that would be used by candidates to convince people to sign their papers. Some candidates would no doubt have a field day preying on people who barely spoke English or didn’t understand the process. Alternatively, some might utilize pairs of ‘burly men’ to show up at peoples homes to ‘encourage’ citizens to sign the papers.

While our elections use secret ballot votes to protect Canadians from such intimidation, the Trudeau government has tabled legislation to eliminate the secret ballot vote when workplaces, covered by federal labour legislation, consider unionizing.

(LIE-berals LOVE unions- sicne much of the work of sorting people into voting blocks is alrwady done by union organizers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Instead of a secret ballot vote, workplaces would automatically unionize if unions collect signed cards from more than 50% of employees. New research by the Manning Centre shows this approach is quite flawed.

Note that workplaces in Canada can typically be unionized through one of two means. The first sees a union present enough signatures from employees to the labour board to force a secret ballot vote on unionizing. For example, in British Columbia, if a union presents cards signed by 45% of employees, a secret ballot vote is subsequently held -administered by neutral government officials.

(OH YEAH!! “Neutral govt officials”!! There is an oxymoron for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

The second process sees a union present enough signatures from employees to automatically unionize a workplace. In Manitoba, the former NDP government changed the law so that a workplace was automatically unionized if unions gathered signed cards from 65% of employees. Most jurisdictions in Canada do not have this automatic unionization process.

(Ndp loves unions even more than LIE-berals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

After reviewing data from over 1,000 labour board votes, across five provinces, the Manning Centre found countless instances of unions claiming high percentages of “support” to unionize a workplace only to see “support” drop significantly once workers could vote through a secret ballot.

(I say isn’t it nice to know those anonymous Thugs don’t always get things their way! I hold no brief against unions per se but I do demand an honest accounting and letting `votes` get organized one way or another by intimidation is NOT part of my Canada!)

For example, in a case in Alberta, a union presented “evidence” to the Alberta Labour Board, claiming 100% of employees supported unionizing. When a secret ballot vote was subsequently held, not a single employee voted in favour of unionizing.

In Manitoba, we observed two cases where unions presented signed cards (between 40-64.9% of employees) and forced a vote on unionizing the workplace. When the secret ballot vote took place, no employee voted to join the union.

In Newfoundland and Labrador, labour legislation previously required automatic unionization of a workplace if 65% of employees signed cards. In one case we examined, only 64.4% of employees signed cards. Thus, the union came just shy of automatic unionization and a vote was subsequently held. Incredibly, when the employees voted through a secret ballot, only 17.1% voted in favour of unionizing.

Overall, we found over 80% of instances where “support” for unionizing a workplace dropped by 15 percentage points or more once workers could vote through a secret ballot. What could explain all the sizable drops in support?

Were people tricked into signing the cards? Did burly men showing up at their homes to intimidate them? Who knows.

One thing should be obvious, a signed card is anything but a sure vote of support. If the Trudeau government wants to know if workers truly want unionize, they’ll keep the secret ballot vote in place.

- Colin Craig works for the Manning Centre and is the author of The Government Wears Prada.

(I say what else can we expect of our silver spoon socialist prime minister. Our Boy has learned from his father to hate western `imperialism` and democracy. Both Trudope father and sons have learned from the Communist system how to bully and betray a country.

(Public show trials are a favorite of Soviet style leaders. The guilt of a `villain`-somebody who has offended govt will often be `debated` in a public forum. Chairman Mao was very fond of letting members of the public participate in such carefully scripted show trials with specially chosen citizens allowed to come forward and berate and often beat the villain publicly!!!!!!!!

(Such allegedly “spontaneous demonstrations of the rage of the people” gave much needed credence to the Kangaroo trials. Mao and the Red Guards organized such public assaults with such care that `anti social` villains were sometimes beaten to death by citizens to afraid of govt to call a halt to the beating and bigotry!)

(And now we have Our Brainless Boy trying to rig union election rules to ensure that his side gets a leg up! Pierre Trudope made it clear he did NOT want to deal with a nation of small shop keepers; he much preferred large corporations as it was easier to persuade a small group of CEO`s with similar problems than to deal with a horde of small Biz owners!! Small business owners must each be persuaded on an individual basis- each according to personal needs-a time consuming and tedious process that can be undone in an afternoon on the whim of the owner.)

(The Trudopes recognize that corporations and large unions are easier to deal with-one has only to persuade a few CEO`s and they will ensure the rest of the group falls into line by dictating suitable orders! By making it easier to unionize, LIE-berals make us more standardized and easier to control-one economic choice fits many or all in the group. Small business is too independent minded for proper Soviet socialist behaviour and thus small business must be disposed of for the good of Our brainless Boy leader and his `social revolution`! )
