88 bodies recovered in the Sonora desert since his arrest in 2018 for leaving water out for migrants. 2,800 bodies found in Sonora desert since year 2000. The gov is trying to prosecute him for saving lives, the judge declared mistrial but it is not decided if he will be retried!

Hung jury thwarts federal prosecution of Arizona teacher arrested for helping migrants

U.S. District Judge Raner Collins declared a mistrial Tuesday evening after a jury in Tucson, Arizona, couldn't agree on whether Scott Warren, a 36-year-old geology teacher and border aid volunteer, had broken the law by helping a pair of Central American migrants crossing a treacherous stretch of Arizona desert. Warren's lawyer, Greg Kuykendall, said eight jurors wanted to find Warren not guilty on all three federal counts and four jurors thought him guilty. He had faced up to 20 years in prison.
"The government put on its best case with the full force of countless resources, and 12 jurors could not agree with that case," Kuykendall said. Warren also read a statement, pointing to the 88 bodies recovered in the Sonoran Desert since his arrest in January 2018. "The government's plan in the midst of this humanitarian crisis? Policies to target undocumented people, refugees, and their families," Warren said. "Prosecutions to criminalize humanitarian aid, kindness, and solidarity," and plans to "build an enormous and expensive wall across a vast stretch of southwestern Arizona's unbroken Sonoran Desert."

Jumpin' Joe and Donny Dodger. Aggregate age on Inauguration Day, 2021: 152. The Speaker of the House: 79 now. The Majority Leader of the Senate: 77 now. Supreme Court average age now: 70.
We're officially a gerontocracy.
It's a problem. As pathetic as some of our offerings are up here, we don't elect many old farts. Ronald Reagan set the bar at the "nearly dead" level.

A 78 year old Biden is in far better condition than a 73 year old Trump.

Biden will likely only last the first few Primaries in 2020. I think the Dems will go for someone who truly represents their fragmented ideological tribalism. My guess is it will be Kamala Harris who has positioned herself as the AntiTrump and who fits the profile as a woman of colour, of Jamaican and Indian immigrant parentage, who has assumed some aspect of every cultural victim's group. Nobody else can come close to reflecting the true character of the Dems these days.

I don't think Biden really wants to be President. He hasn't brought much energy to the campaign. He's there because he's been convinced he is the only one who can unite the cultural and eco-pagan fragmentalists and the economic progressives (Harris and Sanders respectively) but he really doesn't appeal to either. I doubt he's thinking of himself as anything but a one term bridge Presidency. He looks a lot like the John McCain of the Dems. Someone who promised an era of style through bipartisanship and commonality but lacked any sense of vision or purpose.

And between Trump and Harris, it'll be a cakewalk for Trump. Sanders would stand a chance in the Rust Belt against Trump, but Harris will be relegated to Urbanized Blue States and leave the heartland to Trump.

What about Warren? Some seem to think she'll rise to the top once things really get under way. ?????

Russia meddles in American elections and the white nattys could not be happier.

Their guy won

Actually they wanted Clinton to win - lets set things straight! It was the Clintons and the DNC who invited the Russians/Ukrainians in to try and stop Trump - turns out they had to implement "plan B" cuz their original plan didn't work!
