I was reading today that nothing will be planted in the bread belt till the end of may. food prices are already climbing, we better have an extra month of summer this year or things will be very difficult this next winter. Global crop losses are very alarming already.
Please post links with yer predictions of doom and misery.

The debate about climate change is finished - because it has been categorically proved NOT to exist, one of the world's best known climate change sceptic has claimed.

I have studied climate change seriously for years. It has become a political and environment agenda item, but the science is not valid --John Coleman, co-founder of the Weather Channel

Nothing about physical climate change is ever finished. It is a permanent feature of earth dynamics. The global warming thing is definitely not happening at this time however.

Warmer Winter Ground Temperatures Trigger RapidGrowth of Dahurian Larch in the PermafrostForests of Northeast ChinaXianliang Zhang1,2, Xueping Bai1, Meiting Hou3, Zhenju Chen1,and Rubén D. However, comparatively few studies have exploredhow changes in permafrost affect tree growth dynamics in boreal forest. Here, we used a tree ring network of12 Dahurian larch (Larix gmelinii) sites across permafrost regions in northeast China. We observed anincrease inL. gmeliniigrowth over the past decade, seemingly linked to a shift in their climatic limitations, where winter GST has become the most strongly limiting factor forL. gmeliniigrowth. The recent increase ingrowth was particularly strong in older trees (>300 years), which could be related to older trees having amore developed root system. GST was the

Just got the score for the one. I'll try to memorize as much of the Bass part as I can obver the summer. Those fugues are suite tricky, though.

oh, you like BOTH kinds of music ....
Country AND Western!

We had a C&W musician from Montana play at a local fundraiser/beer garden about 5 years ago. Three members of his band, including the drummer and bass player couldn't get through the border so they scrambled to find local musicians to fill in for the missing band mates. Nobody noticed

A young lady I know said she wanted to find a cowboy to ride off into the sunset with. I said cowboys prefer heifers. She said, "but I like cowboys." I said, "I'm sure there are some that like girls too."
Country & Western = heifer humping music.

Except near the Poles. Maybe a five year phenomena until Mother Nature balances it off.

Walter, I have not pulled the crop ;losses outta the air, follow the commodity price increases and poorer than usual availability. You will be singing a different tune soon enough.

I'm having a wetter cooler spring than they are 200 km southwest. I'm good to go. We are trying something new this spring and have seeded natural prairie grasses through the topography that is part of the natural watershed. It doesnt produce anyway. It'll slow erosion and phosphate run off into the Assinaboine and eventually Lake Winnipeg.

It will also give me nice fat ruminants to shoot and cheap local honey. Yum.
