Sadly, discrimination is widely permitted under the guise of "good order and discipline."

The same arguments used against transgenders were used against gays, women, and blacks in the military.

An official United States Army report released in 1925 stated that Negroes, all Negroes, are not intelligent enough nor brave enough to be pilots.

Yep, so because it was true in 1925, apparently, (according to you) it's true today. Sigh.... guess no matter what changes in behaviors or attitudes one has, they will live to regret ever having said opinion. God, it must be nice to be so self-righteous and perfect!!

Oh, I think that it persisted well beyond 1925 ...

I spent 12 years in the United States military. How about you?

Self-righteous and perfect is nice indeed, but self-righteous and ignorant is almost as good, and way easier.

Funny how y'all tighty whitey righties love to revel in your glorious history and consider yourselves the heirs of the great ones who have gone before, and then throw a conniption fit when somebody points out their blemishes.

They should have strafed Selma.
Funny thing about the Tuskeegees. Several Southern senators did their level damnedest to scotch the whole Tuskeegee Experiment from the git-go. When they failed, they used their influence and the collaboration of many senior officers, also mostly from the South, to set the qualifying score on the flight exam much higher for blacks than for whites, which they could do because racial discrimination was legal and normal in the 1940s.

(I have no doubt that this simple historical fact will earn another hysterical screeching fit from Dix.)

Anyway, to quote the friend who was first to arrive after Sid Vicious stabbed Nancy to death, "This is a serious f*ck-up."

In their determination to make the Tuskeegee Experiment fail, all they did was ensure that the men accepted were super-pilots.

The rest, as they say, is history, though it sure as shootin' won't make it into a conservative's history book.

‘Mass purge’: Sarah Sanders implements new standard that disqualifies ‘almost the entire White House press corps’

step by step........into Tyranny People keep making excuses for the regime.........until it is too late. Is THIS what Trumpizoids want??

Perhaps America can no longer handle a true Republic.........and are choosing to slide into a Tyrannical system. Controlling the press to this radical degree is one big step.

White House asserts executive privilege over Mueller report in latest confrontation with Congress

Attorney General William P. Barr released a redacted version of special counsel Robert S. Mueller IIIs report on Russian interference in the 2016 election on April 18. But House Democrats subpoenaed the underlying evidence and the full report in their investigation into whether President

Trump obstructed justice.

Doesn't want to control them ...wants to eliminate them.
If you call CNN and the WaPo the press, you should ride on that bus too.
;)

But, at least when you race on a bus you don't have to worry about the stigma of winning.
