Until alternative energy is a viable option, fuel is and will be the most viable in the years to come. I doubt that alternative energy will easily supplant truck/train/air travel for quite some time.
And so the Carbon Tax Revolution, the trees are begging for CO2. I own a woodlot of some comfortable size. The productivity of my woodlot depends on the availability of cheap CO2, save some other fukkin planet leave mine alone.
I had hoped to discontinue my tax paying days owing a huge amount for unsatisfying adventures. Tax Evasion By Death, a very good book by The Lord of This world.
