The hatred doesn't help anyone, Boomer and it doesn't fix anything. Accidents like this will still occur and probably more so once we get these cars that drive themselves!
For that to happen Canada has to go 100% 5G with redundant networks on every piece of highway Canada wide plus a couple more satellites. The hatred doesn't help anyone, Boomer and it doesn't fix anything. There are still dark spots all over the damn place on 4G and satellite still sucks.
We are a country that doesn't even have a competent highway linking Calgary to Vancouver, our roads are shit, our infrastructure is failing, and we can't even build a pipeline across the country without a bunch of hippies and idiots blocking it..
Automated cars and trucks won't happen in rural Canada or America.. maybe in cities and dry climates.. possibly.
In the uk they drive on the left, in Canada we drive on what's left
Highway 3 and 5 is set the cruise and relax.Still an amazing piece of road once you know the history. When the Fraser Canyon was under construction in the 1950s, the mile at Hell's Gate was the most expensive mile of construction in North America at the time, something like $2.6 million (about 50 million in today's dollars) then you have the Eagle Pass, Rogers Pass and Kickinghorse Pass and a whole bunch of shit in between! It's hard to support all this with a population of 4 million people. I realize the Feds do throw in a few dribs and drabs.
