What has Scheer done to make you not want to vote for him? Maybe you don't get the same news there as we do here he is quite vocal and has laid out some of his platform.
The media are trying to portray him as Harper 2 . Which is a good thing in my mind , as Steven Harper was the best PM Canada has seen in my time . That is taking is back to our Nobel prize winner Lester Pearson .

The best solution would be to replace Justin with Jody Wilson - Raybould.
It might be an uphill battle, JLM. One doesn't go against a party without consequences - no matter the soundness of the rationale.

I wonder why you would not think someone of Freelands' caliber might not be a good choice.

The latest poll has Conservatives double digits ahead and Trudeau with an approval 3 points lower than Trump.
The great liberal saviour has turned into an empty suit . I see he is still away from the pressure of Ottawant burning up tax dollars and carbon credits . I wonder if he gets frequent flyer points on the Challenger ?

Because he's done nothing to prove he's better.
He was apparently a well respected Speaker of the House . More when you think of it then our current seating PM had prior to taking the big chair .

He hasn't done anything to gain my interest into looking further into him for a start.

Neither has Trudeau.

Or any other party leader.

All their platforms mean tiddlyshyte because they won't follow them, they'll drop them soon as they're elected and then it's the same ol' BS story over again. I haven't seen anything really clear about his platform anyway, so if you have a link that shows it, that'd be great.

I don't like what he supports, personally and the fact he's really right/conservative so much he might as well be Canadian Republican.

There's not one party or leader that's grabbed any positive attention, IMO, what so ever.

Has he had a chance yet? He was speaker of the house for Harper and was well respected for the job he did

That he was speaker for the house for Harper is not a quality that's a plus, no matter how good he did.

And IMO I'd say that about a lib appointee, too.

OMG NO!!!!!

LOL

I respect J W-R, but she is off-the-scale lefty.

Noping out.......

Couldn't agree more...she really showed her colours with her offside comments about the Gerald Stanley verdict.

Unless the party is in the middle of a mutiny, with key players leaking out stories to the Globe and Mail to try and sabotage the leader in order to force him out to make way for a fresh new leader who is widely known for her steadfast commitment to ethical leadership and true devotion to progressive social justice.

Scheer does not believe in the things Canadians believe in.

He had no business leading the country

There is no one article that lays out his platform, in fact he never rolled his platform out yet, but he has mentioned in different articles what will be apart of the platform.

Let's be honest if you are open to change you will find a party to satisfy your appetite, if you only want to see a change in leadership you won't vote for a different party, you just won't vote.

Oh do you know who the speaker of the house is right now? I sure don't, and never read an article that flattered him the same they did for Scheer, but maybe I missed it ;)

Scheer does not believe in the things Canadians believe in.

Things like what?? Bollywood dancing? Appropriating the culture of others for political gain? Injection of gender bias into every political decision? Peoplekind? Wiping his ass with ethics rules? Elbowing women in the chest during house votes? Petulance? Arrogant, narcissistic self-righteousness against our largest trading partner? Unmitigated, uncontrolled illegal border jumping? Two faced stances on pipelines? Double standards on saving Canadian jobs based on regions? Throwing Supreme Court Justice nominees under the bus to make MP's on your own party look bad? Incessant, phony, virtue signalling on every single issue?

I hate to tell you sport, but these aren't things Canadians believe in.

The Canadians who believe in climate change, reproductive rights and immigration along with many other core values that Scheer must - as head white natty - oppose.

The actual issues are his Waterloo.
