Democrats' war on capitalism

Hillary Clinton recently offered yet another reason why she lost her second consecutive race for the presidency: capitalism.
At the Shared Value Leadership Summit in New York City, Clinton was asked whether her self-proclaimed “capitalist” stance hurt her during the 2016 presidential primary season. “It’s hard to know,” she said, “but I mean, if you’re in the Iowa caucuses and 41% of Democrats are socialists or self-described socialists, and I’m asked, ‘Are you a capitalist?’ and I say, ‘Yes, but with appropriate regulation and appropriate accountability.’ You know, that probably gets lost in the ‘Oh, my gosh, she’s a capitalist!’”
(And it illustrates how deeply snowflakes have undermined Yankee society that being a Socialist is now seen as a virtue!)
Clinton’s right. Being a Democrat and a “capitalist” is an increasingly untenable position for a politician. Polls show that today’s Democratic Party and capitalism appear to be on a collision course. A November 2015 New York Times/CBS News poll found that 56% of Democratic primary voters said they held a positive view of socialism.
(The Socialist issue is being fueled directly by LIE-beral politicians who are pretending that offering special deals for select groups is a virtue- such deals are no longer seen as shameless and costly vote buying!)
A Morning Consult/Politico survey in June 2017 asked if a hypothetical replacement for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi should be a socialist or capitalist. More Democrats opted for socialism, with 35% saying it’s somewhat or very important that her replacement be a socialist, while only 31% said the same for a capitalist.
(This acceptance of socialism is a staggering indictment of the left wing establishment in United States! Have these idiots not noticed that all socialist govts are DEAD BROKE? Do these arrogant FOOLS REALLY think they are smarter than all the FAILED socialists who came before them? Have any of these idiots heard of Bob Rae and his NDP Rae Days?)
Indeed, one of the Democrats’ loudest voices, filmmaker Michael Moore, recently praised Karl Marx, the ideological godfather of communism. Moore tweeted: “Happy 200th Birthday Karl Marx! You believed that everyone should have a seat at the table & that the greed of the rich would eventually bring us all down. You believed that everyone deserves a slice of the pie. You knew that the super wealthy were out to grab whatever they could … Though the rich have sought to distort him or even use him, time has shown that, in the end, Marx was actually mostly right & that the aristocrats, the slave owners, the bankers and Goldman Sachs were wrong… ‘Happy Birthday, Karl Marx. You Were Right!’”
Tell that to the millions who died under communist repression in, among other places, China, the Soviet Union and Cambodia.
(Again- such values are an amazing condemnation of leftie society! There is a huge difference between giving people a seat at the table- and letting them BURN the table because they don’t like the meal on offer!)
Perhaps no issue reflects this socialist view more than the Democrats’ push for “single-payer” health care. As a state senator, Barack Obama said: “I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer, universal health care program. I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, spending 14% of its gross national product on health care, cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody … A single-payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. That’s what I’d like to see. But as all of you know, we may not get there immediately.” A few years later, then-presidential candidate Obama reiterated his stance, that if “starting from scratch” he’d have a single-payer system.
(As a Cdn who has had his life saved by our public health care- I think it is worth noting that insurance is a CAPITALIST CREATION! Given the complexities of any modern insurance document and the ever expanding number of ways insurance companies are creating to get around paying for anything- it stands to reason that the great majority of us will be better off with govt health care!)
(In fact- Cdn statistics prove this fact! Cdn Cancer patients LIVE LONGER- on average- than their Yankee counterparts! It looks to me as if a nation has a choice between building jails and building hospitals- and Yankees seem to prefer jails! Even though hospitals are more pleasing to have access to! )
(But as our Cdn experience shows- having public health care is one thing- but creating a VAST ARMY of civil service union Hogs to run all our public services is quite another matter! Our civil service has been encouraged to grow all out of proportion to our needs- by regular and quite shameless LIE-beral vote buying!!!)
(Offering up piles of gravy to civil service Hogs in exchange for votes -is NOT DEMOCRACY! It is simply CRASS BRIBERY and it is a GROSS conflict of interest that NO HONEST DEMOCRACY should tolerate within its borders!)
(This GROSS CONFLICT of interest has been allowed to flourish thanks to voter indifference- when less than half the population does not care to cast a ballot- it allows the extremists to take over!)
(The problem now is that LIE-berals have so abused the population for so long that the public is now striking back at the costly entitlements of greedy LIE-berals- and LIE-berals are so deeply entitled they think it is the public that is in the wrong!)
(Our society is being splintered into those who feel they are entitled to use others as stepping stones- and those who are sick of being stepped on! All LIE-beral policy is in disgrace and the silent majority is getting roused!)
Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean called the so-called “public option” the endgame: “I think while someday we may end up with a single-payer system, it’s clear that we’re not going to do it all at once, so I think both candidates’ (Hillary Clinton’s and Obama’s) health care plans are a big step forward.”
(One has to wonder why these people are so obsessed with public health care when they are running up such huge debts in other areas? Other countries do not have the level of crime and violence that United States has- would some KINDNESS in the form of health care be out of line and would such kindness help to reduce some of the anger?)
(LIE-berals do not care about social conditions- their gravy is blocking sensible thought! This is why Cdn LIE-berals and their Hog allies can cheerfully contemplate creating TWO TIER medicine in Canada! They want to retain a fine health care system for “those who can pay” and dispense a few aspirins and bandaids for ordinary people! There is NOT enough LIE-beral gravy to go around so LIE-berals expect to protect their entitlements by making US to go short!)
(One finds it easy to condemn the unstable banking system that has become the tool of leftist govts! When Pierre Trudeau came to power- Cdn banks had 83 cents on deposit for every dollar they loaned out! When Trudeau left office- Cdn banks had 17 cents on deposit for every dollar they had loaned out! And now- Cdn banks are the most financially solid ones on the planet because they have 13 cents on deposit for every dollar loaned out- compared to 7-8 cents on deposit for European banks!)
(LIE-beral deficit financing and massive long term debts are a scourge crippling peoples lives! The banker does not care where the money comes from- he is not required- as part of his job- to make moral judgements about greedy civil service unions!)
(But consider that the more money you have to invest - the BETTER are the investment options open to you! Go into a bank with one thousand dollars for a GIC- and the bank yawns and takes your money at a MODEST interest rate! But go in with ten million dollars and watch the bank fawn over you and offer up GREAT interest rates!)
