Third Named Witness Rejects Kavanaugh’s Accuser’s Allegations

In written testimony sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee, a third named witness has rejected the allegations made by Judge Kavanaugh’s accuser. Having been asked by a Senate staffer to comment on the charges advanced against the nominee, a lawyer for Leland Ingham Keyser wrote:

Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford.

Under 18 U.S.C § 1001, letters to the Judiciary Committee are subject to criminal penalty if false.

COMMENTS
Ms. Keyer, whom CNN confirms is “a lifelong friend of Ford’s,” is the third named witness to deny any knowledge of the allegations. The other two, Mark Judge and Patrick Smyth, issued written statements to that effect earlier in the week. Thus far, nobody has backed up the account advanced by Kavanaugh’s accuser, while Kavanaugh and three other named witnesses have rejected it outright.

On ABC This Week, there was a pretty good discussion and some valid points were being made .....

This is not about Guilt or Innocence and Prison ..... It is about giving the guy a promotion to a lifetime position. The judge already has a lifetime position on the lower courts, and can easily return to this position if not promoted to the supreme court.

When lifetime positions were given to supreme court judges, the life expectancy was about 40 years of age. I think that there should be a 20 year term and not a lifetime term.

Well become an American and lobby politicians to change the law . I am sure you would find some support as it has merit . Maybe we can have term limits here in Canada as well .

There is a saying in Washington: If Republicans lose Fox News, the battle is over.

And according to a new Fox News Poll,Republicans may have lost the battle over Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The poll, released Sunday, shows that 50% of surveyed voters disapprove of Kavanaugh, while just 40% approve of his nomination. Never before has a Supreme Court nominee had poll numbers this bad. Never before have half of poll respondents said they don’t want a presidential nominee to take his place on the high court.

These bad numbers for Kavanaugh are a direct result of Dr. Christine Ford’s accusations against him, according to Fox News. Before the sexual assault allegations were made the majority of Fox News poll respondents were in favor of Kavanaugh’s nomination.

they are desperate to get their boy on the SC prior to the mid terms because they know after the mid terms they won't be able to get anyone confirmed that doesn't toe the Dem line.
