They tend to not put us in the loop since 'the Arrow' incident. Apparently expensive things that don't work is what the program is all about.
I don't know. "Spence's Space Cadets" has a certain je ne sais quoi ring to it.

I'm sure it would since it is all about turf. Just imagine the uproar from all the bureaucraps if the Prez decided to make it all into two forces. Earth force and Space force. Which would make sense

Um he's doing the opposite of climate change mitigation. The brain eating lake amoeba is moving North and killing people. Black widow spiders are moving North. Heat waves. Meanwhile Trump is trying to increase coal use. And he wants already rich people to use up all the oil in the ground to make them rich, which they already are, despite the people who die from smog. And Trump is even trying to undo California clean air legislation.
Given me a feeling of confidence that finally there is someone in charge with enough gumption to clean up the shit!

If we ever stumble upon an intersteller species in our neck of the woods and try to "dominanate" them, we'll be well and truly knackered.
quite frankly: I hope so. We wouldn't be in that league at all.;-) The earhling must get smarter (evolutionary wise ) before even thinking such thoughts.;-)
We can't "go there" in intersteller space, based on what Einstein deduced and that no one has yet debunked in more than a century. If there are intersteller beings hangimg around here, they would have to have deep, fundamental understanding of a Physics that we haven't yet discovered. They had better be friendly or we are well and truly skee-rood.
We'll offer up Pence as the chief negotiator.
