OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very clever and completely useless!

SO its classic LIE-beral BS!

Cdns would much prefer to dispose of LIE-berals than their oil using machines!

So why dont LIE-beral hypocrites take action to limit oil leaks?

Oh right- LIE-berals prefer to make us buy their electric Toy cars instead- because of all the gravy LIE-berals expect to earn from their electricity SCAMS!

On the plus side- LIE-beral policy has now been exposed as so fully screwed up that we can expect that Our idiot Boy Justin will be a one term wonder PM!

Can you quit f**king yelling at us?

the transmountain expansion is not going to be built and even if it was would have no appreciable affect on prices paid for bitumen.

Everything you have ever hear about the trans mountain is a lie.

I don't think the expansion of the KM has anything to do with Chinese trade, and if it had any affect it would be to increase the supply thereby deflating the price

#1 point the Chinese put on any deal to be made is to have access to oil #2 no restriction on Chinese owned companies purchasing Canadian companies and resources

Since you are in Clearwater you should be within walking distance of TMPL thus dead. Why aren't you dead?
I see one of that staunch defender of democratic institutions Warren Buffet had another of his rolling pipelines rupture in Ohio.

OK, that was pretty good.

Here's a non-ass fact. Pipelines have the lowest leakage per litre carried of any means of liquid transportation.
Yep. In a different thread a while back I posted the numbers. It showed the one serious rail accident in 2012 in Canada vs pipelines and that one train lost a noticeably higher percentage of it's load than from all of the pipeline leaks that year.

That's why I support pipelines. Not because I'm "conservative" or "liberal," two terms so flexible as to be almost useless. Because I don't like leaks, and pipelines are the least leaky means of transportation.

Sorry to all the people who feel betrayed by that position.

There is excellent potential for pipelines to produce green energy on the cheap.

Hydraulics is hydraulics, gravity is gravity and kinetic energy to mechanical energy works the same regardless of the fluid.

Yep, there's no sensible argument to that fact and anyone who does just has an unsubstantiated hatred of oil products and would be far better off if they remained quiet and 'appeared a fool'.

Ironic innit? They're sooo focused on the potential damage caused by pipelines they simply cannot fathom the terrifying concept of more and more potential Lac Megantics. Or serious accidents in the mountains where fire(s) from the crash can spread to the surrounding forest. Even those in the rail industry have stated that rail is just about the worst way to transport oil. And considering they're responsible for hauling more than enough other dangerous goods across country, why add to the stress load?
