I favour lowering taxes on the rich too. I'm just saying though that the priority should be lowering them on the poor first. Once the debt is paid off (if I'm still alive by then) and taxes on the poor eliminated, then we could consider lowering taxes on the middle class, maybe even eliminate them too. As for the rich, we could then consider lowering their taxes.

That's just debt-induced growth so not sustainable. Poorer jurisdictions enjoy an advantage in the growth department since they can undersell the competition. A more developed jurisdictions merely reveals its foolishness in trying to compete in growth. A wise developed jurisdiction knows it can't compete on growth so it focuses on improved efficiency instead.
I'd like to see the stats on Ontario's improvements to economic efficiency.
The lower-middle-class or the relatively-poor then.
Or just eliminate the HST.
I think you underestimate how many 'poor' there are and how much they collectively contribute in taxation.
Removing taxes from them would make it much harder to balance the budget unless you increase taxes on the rich.

That's why I proposed cutting spending first and then making any tax cuts dove tal conditionally and incrementally with reduced debt. I don't favour tax cuts until we get the debt under control.
I live right next to Ontario and visit often. I can say I've noticed prices increasing in Ontario in the last couple of years. I have little doubt it has to do with minimum-wage increases. Dog chasing its tail.
1. Ford supports the constitutional right of freedom of speech/conscience and the the right to peacefully protest.
2. Ford supports the right of legislators to bring forward legislation.
3. Ford supports parental rights. (although he may have overstepped himself in this case, depending on the age limit)
4. Ford supports the individual right of freedom of conscience.
You really don't understand a free society, do you?
